I just watched a video about that cup the other day. They were acquired by Solo cup a while ago and then Solo was acquired by Dart (most Styrofoam cups) so almost all of the iconic cups are from the same company now.

I see where you get your style for cool jackets from now. Looks like an awesome day up there

More expensive passes, less demand and maybe people not wanting to deal with a reservation system could make next year the country club we thought this year would be.
-
Nice save! Hope you're OK. Keep killing it!

I'm assuming that the pie chart of revenue by business unit is definitely shifting around but I doubt that the pie is expanding in diameter.
-
Protocols could also be around next year because they risk alienating a large swath of the market by not having anything in place. I'm guessing that for as many people will get their shot and start party rocking in night clubs an equal amount will continue to mask up and won't feel comfortable in places that don't at least put on a show of being Covid safe.
-
Maybe awknowledge is them saying that they awkwardly acknowledge that covid will be around next year too.

So I need some more background. @saltyant, you got stuck on the wrong side of the mountain and found a kick ass place to have dinner. Did you have some regular shoes with you or did you have dinner in ski boots?

On the phone every lift ride but no pictures.......
-
Very impressive that you guys still got out there today. I feel weird taking a weekend off.
-
It's only 3:20 out there

Not surprised to see that picture of the airport. It's a design nightmare. When I flew out of there the line for security wrapped all around that "multi purpose room" as I'll call it so you were in a huge line snaked around all the baggage claims and lined up right in front of the ski carousel. Make sure you get to the airport with plenty of time to fly home since you know how far of a walk it is from the gates to the entrance.

900, 900 900.... Do I hear $1,100? Come on ladies and gents how can you put a price on skiing the coldest six pack in Pennsylvania?
-
If they planted some trees like Elk I would be fine with $900. Leaving money on the table! I might just write them an extra check actually but Don't cash it until next Thursday

Only my second day of trying for an appointment but another strike out.

It's going to be a game time decision I guess. This rain sucks. -
Good eyes!

PASR really needs a representative on the board of directors at Blue Mountain

I'm on the fence about this weekend. Snow will probably be pretty good but I'm not sure I want to stand in the rain in the lift lines -
Inside is where the only state mandated limiting would be in effect. They are supposed to have capacity restrictions, no booze without food (when is that going to end btw) and reduced table capacity. There's no way they can reasonably count the number of people inside but I would guess it's set up so that it would be fairly uncomfortable to actually utilize the lodge right now.

Just my two one hundredths of a dollar here but I think the current pricing is a reaction to what they are perceiving now and not any kind of forward thinking or projections. Obviously they have the data and we don't but my best guess is that these perceived crowds will go way down next year when they are loading lifts at capacity and people can be inside longer if they keep selling "reduced numbers" of tickets. Increase all you want, that's fine but do it slowly. 40% increase year over year for any product is jarring and I know @skiincy with her marketing expertise can weigh in on just how unprecedented that kind of move is.

Same....

Maybe this is a sign of things to come. Perhaps the online reservation system is here to stay.
-
A steal at twice the price....
-
Other than them reading this board and listening to people who kept saying to raise the prices I have no idea where this would have come from in terms of a business decision. All of the other PA mountains now have cheaper season passes.
