I think you just drive to the start of the canyon, park at a specific park and ride, and the bus picks you up there and takes you directly to the resorts.

Anyone can be an expert at getting around there. There are 3 roads out of the city that go to mountains. Pick one and go ski.

SLC is shockingly easy. Just go for it and follow the snow if there's any. Keeping the plan flexible definitely helped me last week.

My mom was looking into one of those Condos a year or so ago. She thought the lake was bigger.

I suck at skiing too haha. On the way back it looked like there was a bit of a shortcut but since I couldn't tell what was below me I made @skiincy go the long way with me back to the main trail. Didn't trust myself to drop into anything too chopped up or wild.

I was actually thinking about you at the touring shop. They had split boards to rent but I ended up going with the skis because I figured they would be easier to climb with.

I feel bad for anyone who owns one of those condos on Big Boulder Lake. The value of those places will surely drop if the mountain closes.

I don't understand why anyone would shut down snowtubing. It broadens your customer base, is a cash cow, and can't possibly cost much to keep running.

Touring was fantastic and I can't wait to do it again. The only issue was those damn Atomic boots. As soon as I put them on at the trailhead I knew they were hurting my feet but after dealing with the guy at the shop that took way too long getting the bindings set up I just said screw it and pulled the footbeds out and headed up the hill. That was a mistake honestly. Almost any time I had to stop and take a break it was because my feet were hurting and not that my legs were tired. I said some truly awful things while trying to pull those damn boots off at the end. All in all though it was fantastic day and I love exploring on skis even though it kind of sucked. Views always look better when you earn them.

Montage is quite the hike for Philly people though. I doubt anyone up there even knows what WMMR is

I bet this is just the beginning. Most pond skimmings will be cancelled too and this will probably be year 2 without a passholder party.

I ruined the day of anyone within 50 yards of me with the horrible things I was saying after touring the other day due to extremely painful boots. I certainly hope yours fit better.
