Politicians walk a fine line with getting the vaccines. For some reason people look to them for what to do with medical decisions instead of, you know, healthcare professionals, so it's a double edged sword. Turn down the vaccine and say that they should go to healthcare workers first and risk looking like you're avoiding a vaccine and sowing doubt or take it right away when you know you don't really need it over other more deserving people. The theater of national politics really gets in the way of actual usefulness in most cases.

I'll get it when I get the chance but I don't want to take it away from someone that needs it more than me.

Past opening challenge and likely the lower park from what I saw yesterday, I wonder if they will make a push to open up any trails they they blew whales on before the rain comes or just let them sit until after that to groom them out?

I think one of the things that help both Jack Frost and Big Boulder is the proximity to lots of vacation housing. I might be off on this since I don't go there very often, but in addition to Split Rock I thought a lot of the places around there were vacation houses people would spend their winters at which help to bring people in to those hills.

When I moved down to Hatfield and realized that Route 309 was the main thoroughfare, just like it was back in NEPA I started to get curious.

Montage likely got a decent snowfall. If this stuff compacts a little and we get another good storm the trees at Montage will be phenomenal and you can really go explore off the map

When I was younger and would put in long sessions at Montage I used to drive down to the Shoppes at Montage in my snowboard boots and grab some food and head back up.

What will you be measuring with? This could have a major impact too. Walking out with a yardstick and sticking it down? Or will you go out now and do the legwork to stick something in the ground pre-storm?

Is this depth to the ground where those sweet sweet lines sit, or depth to the top of the current snow?

So I've reserved myself to the fact that I won't get to enjoy a powder adventure at blue, but it's hard to not get excited when I see the stoke market rising. Snow totals only go up! Buy low sell high. Ding Ding Ding. Now I need to scope out some local hills and hopefully find some spots that won't ruin any gear. Hope it's enough snow to stay above the ground on.

I'm not even excited for this. Not sure there will be much that's actually skiable from this. Which is lame.
