  1. Only two options, they let them open to more capacity or they close. I don't think there is any restaurant that can operate at 25% total capacity and actually turn a profit.
  2. The vert at Frost might be pushing it in terms of being able to handle a high speed detachable. What is the minimum haul rope length for a detachable lift to operate?
  3. I'm on my third real hair cut. I never let it grow out as long as it did before my first one so I've actually been having them leaving it a little longer than usual.
  4. A lot of us started at different mountains and coalesced around one particular mountain and one row in a particular parking lot.
  5. Pics and TR?
  6. At the end of the day it's going to come down to each school to determine how much risk/exposure/bad PR they are willing to handle in terms of keeping the semester going. I don't envy the presidents of the big D1 schools right now. I think a school going completely online and sending kids home could be a really risky move for the next few semesters in terms of getting new students to sign up and to retain students. If I was a parent at a school like the University of North Carolina, which sent kids home already, I would be furious about all the money that was just wasted and the smart move would be to take my underclassmen student out of the school and put them in a community college in the Spring 2021 semester until I felt like I wasn't blowing big tuition dollars on hoping that they get a real semester in.
  7. I'm just saying that whatever number is reported at colleges is likely very much an under count.
  8. If these college kids had any kind of sense they would just get sick and hide it right? I'm imagining fraternities right now are having sit downs and deciding that if anyone gets sick they are just going to call it allergies and chill for two weeks rather than risk becoming a positive case and getting the school shut down.
  9. The money certainly will not go towards anything useful or wanted by the populace.
  10. Delco also has a much higher population density than Montco, Rank Population Density ▼ County / Population 1. 10,839.8/sq mi Philadelphia, PA / 1,546,920 2. 2,942.1/sq mi Delaware, PA / 560,775 3. 1,661.3/sq mi Montgomery, PA / 809,372 4. 1,651.0/sq mi Allegheny, PA / 1,229,172 5. 1,018.1/sq mi Lehigh, PA / 354,537
  11. At first I would bet it's a mix of low supply mixed with trepidation about getting a vaccine that was rushed. I would imagine they would push it to vulnerable populations first as well. Prediction: Vaccine for us young, active, healthy folks won't be until 2022.
  12. Do tell....
  13. Second best http://phillycircus.com/ Pre-pandemic I used to see them practicing trapeze while going for walks.
  14. It said no restrictions on passholders. I can't imagine they would find a way to block some of us and let others through.
  15. I bet the historical data is actually pretty damn close. We've become creatures of habit the last few years.
  16. I wonder if the 5 available are the max that one person can buy at a time? Like you can only buy for your family of 5 in one transaction.
  17. I'll likely get one of those neck gaiter things for ski season. Easy up and down and harder to lose.
  18. If you think anyone who skis after 11am on a weekend has enough control over their skis to maintain 6 feet in a line you're out of your mind.
  19. How can I drink a nice beverage on the lift with a face covering? Guess I need a straw
  20. It would have to be if they limit ticket sales. No way you'll see a lift line all the way back to the bottom lodge doors this year.
  21. On The Lifts 6 ft distancing must be maintained between cohort groups. Skiers and riders will be required to wear masks and gloves while in lift lines and while riding the lift. Is PASR a registered cohort group?
  22. I would love to see their data.
  23. I'm sure you guys have seen this on the news by now. Made the national news too. https://6abc.com/health/villanova-warns-students-after-video-shows-large-gathering-on-campus-/6371063/ Kids will be kids, and in an effort to keep the ship sailing, at least somewhat, 'Nova has instituted a mini bubble for the Business School and other Graduate schools. Grad students won't be on campus this fall but will have live classes at either a center city location or at a hotel/conference center in King of Prussia that they've rented out. This idea is honestly a 10/10 and gives the absolute best shot at these programs getting an entire semester in with the benefit of being with classmates and professors.
  24. That's a great idea, until day 4 when all the toilets are irreparably clogged....
  25. Those temps are a lititle @toast21602-y Glad it's relatively cool up here.
