Nothing really to add. Snow was great everywhere. I felt old considering the high numbers of hight school kids. Put in an hour between 4 and 5. First evening skiing in a long time.

I could go for a new pair of goggles. I lost my Oakleys last year somehow, which I'm still pissed about, and in a moment of desperation picked up a pair of Bolle goggles at Costco

I hope they made enough money today from tickets that they can stay open until June

I'll probably be there Friday afternoon and maybe Sunday morning

I think it says something about the quality of this crew that @saltyant drove to blue and didn't even ski just to hang. That right there is how you know you've assembled a real quality group! Hope you're back on skis next weekend Salty!

Today was Grate. Except for the snow. But NMDW saved the day on that one. Lapped it 5 more times when I went out for a second session. Big thanks to @Enjoralas for the scrumptious meats

There is a deli style meat counter outside on the patio, you go up and order off of a chalkboard and they give you a plate of raw meats and veggies and you go over to a huge grill and cook it yourself.

I used to live about 20 minutes from Spring Mountain. Funky little tiki bar there in the summer. wasn't a bad spot to pop in for a beer, kind of a strange "cook your own bbq" thing going on too.

I would imagine the blanket 4pm closing has more to do with staffing than anything else.

I'll be there tomorrow but it probably won't be for opening bell.

To add to the conversation. I rarely if ever drive to the mountain in my ski pants. I just pop them on when I get there. And I typically take them off to drive home.

The stoke market is rising for this weekend!

I too love round picnic tables that are too close together.... But seriously, they are really putting the firepower to work on that place and seeing the gates at the sixer makes me excited.
