I've stopped skiing with several friends because they do not watch in the trees. Might as well be by myself. At least then I can choose my own route. Some of these things are six to nine feet deep.

Sit down. Pull down the footrest when everyone has been warned and is ready. Raise. Ski off. Don't see the need for extra jumping around.

Got seven more in the last 24 hours. Eighty inch base. There are no groomers today, it is apparently covering as fast as they groom. And it's supposed to keep on coming into Monday.

All I know is the mountain is supposed to get another one to two feet by Sunday. Woohoo!!!

Vail was never even under discussion. Nowhere in Colorado was under discussion. Lake Louise definitely was.

Dumping all day. Spent a serious amount of time off piste with a class I was in. Pretty sure I'm ten years older than the rest of them and 30 years older than most of them. Help!

No, what was dumb was him chasing a moose. He's lucky he's not dead. Then he glories his a-holeness by publishing it on Facebook. Double dumb. Beyond that, quadruple dumb. The Forest Service had to act. It's National Forest land and the video ended up on CNN.

Glenn's still in Bozeman as far as I know. He was looking for a roomie.

My mom died, so I missed a bunch of days. I'm pretty far behind where I normally am. Plus, stopped posting stats here a while ago. Today was day 16. But, it was like I had two "first weeks" this season as I had about ten days in when I had to leave for Denver. (Christmas was postponed this year). Then I was out for ten days, and it was like I hadn't skied AT ALL when I got back out there. Fortunately, have started gaining strength and finally did some off piste today. But, not really where I should be for this date.
