That's quite a tour, how long were they gone?
-
Another blue bird day, but temps started higher in the AM, so things were getting slushy by 1 PM. Brought out all the nuts, and a ton of anklebiters. Sorry, I guess I am a spring grouch, prefer frigid, windy weather with FRESH SNOW to this stuff.
-
Glorious blue bird day! If we can't have powder, then let's have this!
-
Are they back yet? Did they have a good trip? I've done several Epic Ski tours this season, one more today and another on Wednesday.
-
Another day of sun and fog, but not enough snow to make a difference. Groomer day.
-
Alternating sun and snow all day today.
-
Now hearing that there were all of 911 skiers today... spread across 3000 acres.
-
Not tremendously scenic today. Quite cold due to high winds, so almost no one there. Wind on the front blew things right down to the hardpack in many places and where the snow landed it was quite dense. After it gets stirred up it'll be nice, but it took effort to go off piste today.

I don't even need to look at the link. All about my buddy Fred... Who I rarely ski with because he's like a machine... God forbid you stop half way down to talk... Unless it's to my daughter, who he seems to have a "thing" for... Of course, the mountain community here is pretty small.. Pretty much all of the people in the top 100 at least know the other ones by name.

Today, blue bird all day long. Snow wonderful in AM, but increasingly heavy and starting to set up when I left.
-
Yesterday, dumping, but I couldn't stay:
-
Are you going to the EpicSki gathering? Got like 45 of them meeting up down at Bridger, Big Sky, and Moonlight starting maybe Sunday? Too expensive an outing for me.
-
They've hit a great week. And more coming. Went up yesterday, but had a migraine and couldn't tough it out. Killed me to leave, but heading up again today.
-
Started out the day on my groomer skis, arrived at the summit and realized that would have to change. Outrageous powder day. (Not Sibby in pics, a friend).
-
Hard and fast in the AM, turning soupy after lunch. This neon gaper was a giant, close to seven feet tall. I guess he figured he couldn't blend in anyway, so why not REALLY draw stares: Valley view:
-
Well, we were expecting rain today and I dressed for it. Didn't come, but snow started out "perfect Spring conditions" and was gluey after lunch. Came across friends applying paraffin right on the hill.
-
Only took a few pics, viz not great and skiing was. Started out with my groomer skis and went back to my locker and changed to the pow skis after lunch.
-
Today turned into a surprise powder day. Will post pic later, but here's today's video.
-
I love weekdays, even if you can SEE, there's no one here.
-
We get them here too. Some guy sat next to me on the chair today, was clearly a newb, talked with a twang, he asked me where I was from. I didn't return the interest, figured whatever the answer was, was only downhill... Actually, I guess I'm starting to feel like that about all the tourons... Need more snow to take my mind off them, I had a target on my back today for out of control paper ticket people, so not feeling kindly.
-
Another gray day, which kept most of the mountain (which saw sun and warm temps yesterday) pretty crispy crunchy.
-
A bright sunny day, not good for the snow, but the skiing was great most of the day.
-
Back to two chair viz today, mostly due to snow. I'll save you the pictures of fog and just give you pics from my last two runs in Lee's Way:
-
Really digging that Bavarian place.

She's got about three inches, if that.
