Versus is an internet subscription, not a channel?

We've had damp snow three days this week. Nothing sticking yet, just dingy out. La Nina is good for us historically. Go here for La Nina predictions: http://webpages.charter.net/tcrocker818/MEI_corr.htm

Yeah, Arc'teryx, maybe Spyder, Columbia. None of the brands you're looking at would I take off a rack.

Well, if they only get one ticket a week, say for the MWF 4-9 shift, they could still use it for that missing Saturday. -
http://www.bigmtn.com/?a=events/park_pipe Info http://www.stumptownphoto.com/gallery_skii...id=13&num=1 This will take you to a photo store which has lots of Action fotos showing skiing and boarding, most of which will have been taken at Big Mountain. http://www.snowboard-mag.com/node/26093 about what they are doing for the park and pipe crowd this year....not that anything NEEDS to be done, we've got the mountain already!

Seems like they could give it to themselves if they weren't scheduled to work? Sounds fine if you think about it that way. -
Actually, the spelling kind of gives away this lady's educational achievements, and therefore sort of shows you the demographic that those stupid resorts appeal to. NEVER, at ANY point in my life did the idea of me physically entering one of those Pocono honeymoon offerings ever cross my mind. If you can't make a place look anything but tacky in a print ad, then imagine how awful the reality would be! It always kind of scares me that those places get enough business to stay open! YECCCH!!

Maybe the "competition" is not always the official event. Maybe the competition is press and accolades by their peers without regard to particular venues. Being "famous" as opposed to be being the winner.

Bode is supposedly, now that he's all on his own, giving up drinking: http://www.bostonherald.com/track/inside_t...ticleid=1033655

Most pictures of ski runs look flat, even looking at a trail from the chair it looks flat. UNTIL YOU ARE ON IT.

IMHO, whatever feels the best on your head. I prefer FULL helmets, especially after my accident, and they seem to be hard to find. EVERY other helmet in the store was what I think of as a 3/4 helmet. So, I bought the ONE full helmet they had, a Giro Streif, and fortunately it was the perfect size. Interestingly, the right size for this helmet was quite a bit smaller than my last helmet. Does that mean I lost brains???? I think it shows that once you are in a particular brand you should assume that the size only applies for that brand, just like a black at Camelback is not the same as a black out west.

Really? What's the break even number of days for a college pass at CB? Siblet still gets a Big.....Whitefish Mountain Resort pass even though she's only home for a month, because she skis every day she's home. Even though she was only home the month and doesn't go in for the lifties scanning her pass like I do, she finished in the top 15 passholders for the college pass.

There were a couple of seasons I didn't ski much due to being a poor college student or pregnant. Since I've been writing everything down, though, the days have increased pretty steadily.
-
Well, what pisses me off is some smart ass kid who thinks only gapers want the bar down. Call me an old lady, but I think after 35 years of skiing, 915 days, and over 14 million vertical feet, I am no gaper. I want the bar down to rest my legs so I can ski bell to bell, so SORRY but when I tell you I'm pulling down the bar get your damn head out of the way!

Ya get what you pay for.

I'd go to one of the weather sites that has weather history and see when each spot gets most of its snow. We get most of ours in December and January historically, but I think Colorado (Vail)gets it later in general.
-
Well, once you are not getting proform pricing because of your college racing, you'll realize how the rest of humanity has to really scrounge for cheap skis. Siblet's race skis were always a deal. Now that she has stopped racing, she's kind of stunned about ski prices. (As I've been ever since I got off Ray P.'s dole).
-
Well, when he proves it to you this winter, then you'll have your live show. Face it, even if you had pics and videos of the camp, what counts is what stuck, not what they did then.
-
More importantly, did the kids feel that they had any breakthroughs at the camp?

Farmer's Almanac predicting a great season for PA / NE
sibhusky replied to RidgeRacer's topic in General Chat
She's currently single, but past male guests have slept on the floor in the library on some foam blocks taken from window seats. Since this is right outside her door I think she'd complain about some strange dude underfoot if she came home that weekend. Now, MY longtime friends get house in Siblet's bunkbed, much to her chagrin. -

My husband would look at me cross-eyed if I invited some teenage boy to stay. Basement guest suite is still not finished. -

Maybe for YOU, but not for me. I'm about 2300 miles west of you. -

Let's see, for me that means anything goes all winter in terms of temperature, but above normal precipitation in early winter. Since we get most of our snow here in December and January, it means we'll either open early or open late due to rain. I think that pretty much covers all possibilities...... -

Here's what they said last year. You decide whether they're worth listening to.
