I think with the weather last year it really wouldn't have mattered.

The two times I ate there the food was pretty mediocre, but thats not really the point. A $30+ dinner at BC is a pretty nice pass holder benefit.
-
Maybe for the shitty food at Blue.

Snowmax can only do so much. It isn't magic.

That was for everyone.

It faces North East and gets sun for a good portion of the morning / early afternoon.

Better than anything Blue has done for season pass holders.

The restaurant / bar in the main lodge. The food is pretty good there so this is a nice perk for people in the area.
-
Anyone know what they are going to have open today? Might head up this afternoon.
-
It was a serious questions. Why do care when a mountain you haven't been to in almost 20 years and have no plans to go to opens? You are only going to go to Blue so what difference does it make?

They were running for a while this morning. They why do you keep posting in this forum? No one really cares what someone who has never been to the mountain thinks.

If anyone is planning on rolling up to pick up their pass, BC is offering a free entree with the purchase of one at the grille for season pass holders everyday from today until they open for the season.
-
Doubt it, unless there is a major swing towards warm they will open pre-xmas. The 15th seems very doable based on the long term.

Where is the best place to stay up at SR? Looking for ski-in / ski-out for 4 people...so either a two bedroom condo or two hotel type rooms would work.

FB says they are going to start blowing on all trails tomorrow night.

Phones are working.

Gold Hill Chutes at Telluride were awesome. Peak to Creek at Whistler is awesome just because of how long it is. The Billboard peak at Silverton was crazy fun, but a hell of a hike.
-
I'd recommend it, I went to Telly last season and will definitely be making the trip back soon. Lots of fun terrain if you don't mind hiking a bit.
-
Awesome. Thanks for doing this again this year!

Getting pass to BC. Few weekends up in VT most likely. Haven't decided on where I'm going out west this year. Revelstoke, Whistler, Jackson, Snowmass, and Baker are all options. Probably wait a bit and see where the snow is.

Yep. Been eating there every season since it opened and it has always been good. The menu changes just about every season which is nice and they have gone from bar food to more high end but it has always been good.

I loved my last pair of 32s. Crazy light, got about 80-90 days out of them.

I've seen and talked with a bunch of management people at the bar in the years that I have been going to BC. I think it was 2 seasons ago (maybe 3) I was there and was talking / drinking with some guest services people and had mentioned / complained / bitched about the lack of lights on the landing of the top jump on BB. A little while later in the season there was a light there.
