The new little spine in cascade is fun, but would be better with a feature on top. Maybe the mailbox or hitching post like year. Black Bear needs a rebuild with some more jumps and creative rail setups. The current setup is getting old.

Nope...all snow.

I was at Baker 3 or 4 years ago for a week with a similar forcast...I had never seen it snow that much or that hard before in my life...it was awesome. You are going to have a hell of a time.

Conditions yesterday were great. Top jump in cascade was a bit weird you needed a ton of speed to make the landing. Both tubing jumps were great. The spine in black bear was fun to the right side but had really weird pop to the left. The small jump at the end of black bear was fun to mess around on but most people wre coming up like 5 feet short of the landing.

Tubing jumps were perfect yesterday. The wide DFD and down rail in cascade where the bottom jump was were a little sketchy, I prefered the jump there. Landing on the top jump on BB turned into an ice block as the day went on...and it really, really, really needs a light on the landing. Wood down rail is still awesome.

Looks like a few new features out this morning. The wide DFD is setup next to the bottom jump on Cascade and looks pretty nice. Can't wait to get up there later.

Yep, yesterday was really good. Anyone know if they blew snow last night the web cams aren't loading for me?

It was perfect in the morning but I think it dried out a bit since the sun was baking on it all day.

Park was super fun yesterday. Snow was really fast in the morning making it easy to over shoot the jumps in cascade if you weren't careful, but it was perfect for the tubing jumps. The down wood rail is a lot of fun. The flat one is cascade got a bit sticky as the day went on. Definitely a couple different good flow lines yesterday.

Normally it takes more than 2 weeks for all the bitching about the park to start. Good job getting it started early this year guys.

Just got back. Way more snow then I thought they would have. Nice little park setup. Felt great to be riding again.

As far as I know you are not allowed to hike up the hill without a pass because of the liability of you being on the trail. But chances are you wouldn't get caught if you did it. -
I have both a ContourHD and a GoPro HD Hero. Going to be trying them both out the next couple of days. I'll probably end up selling one of them if anyone is interested.

Still some on the ground. Looked like they only ran them for a bit over an hour or so. Definitely some chances in the next week or so to get some snow down.

The Arbor and wood rails looks sick.

Might have to trip up to Revelstoke when I'm out in BC this year.

Ordered some new Burton ak gear (pants and jacket) yesterday. Got pretty wet last year at Big Sky in the deeper snow so I figured with the trips I have planned this year I might as well get some better stuff.
-
Awesome! Thanks again.
-
Nice. I had sent an e-mail to BC about this but didn't hear anything back so this is good to hear. Thanks for doing this!

That is last seasons info which doesn't work for this season.

Anyone setting this up this year?

I have had no issues with the bindings popping out or even moving. Just like regular bindings make sure your bolts are tight every now and then and you'll be fine. The Malolo is an S-Rocker so you can size down 2cm or so and it will ride the same as your normal board length. A lot of rocker boards have a longer effective edge on the smaller sizes so they ride like bigger boards. The Malolo is supposed to be a great board for ripping powder. I rode a Fish last season at Big Sky on a powder down and it blew my mind...the Malolo is a very similar board.
