  1. Sat and Sun were a lot of fun. Lifts shut down for a while on Sat night because of wind and lightening but the opened back up after about 30 mins or so. After that it was empty and tons of fun. They made it through the warm spell better then I thought they would.
  2. Setup looks really nice.
  3. Hoping its just a rumor, but I head 3/30 is the last day this year.
  4. The DFD and the red rail in BB are setup urban as well. Also the rail side of the big stair set is as urban as it gets.
  5. The pipe is still only rough cut, not sure what you guys expect from that. At least they opened it to let people in.
  6. For the first rough cut it wasn't all that bad. But once the snow started it was impossible to carry enough speed for it. With a good drop setup and another cut and it should be pretty good.
  7. They have been pumping out snow like crazy the last week.
  8. Dude have have had something negative to say about almost everything from when they blow snow to the 1/4 pipe and now the 1/2 pipe. Because of the crappy weather they didn't even try and open it till a little while ago. And they had awesome features in the pipe area till it opened. Plus they have said that they are going to make more of an effort this year on maintaining the pipe then in previous years.
  9. Then how come all season you have done nothing but be Mr. Glass Half Empty to everything BC does?
  10. You have got to be the most pessimistic person on this website...do you even enjoy snowboarding? And they have a hikable park.
  11. So pretty much you want the family park which we already have?
  12. Setup and conditions were really good today.
  13. I do my best to keep them open...I dropped waaaaay to much money at the bar last night and booked one of the new loft rooms for next weekend.
  14. No way. The skier that hit the jump was also clearly at fault here along with the spotter. I see this happen all the time with people going for jumps or rails, who obviously know better, should stop but don't. If its not clear, or has the potential to not be clear then you don't hit the feature. And as a spotter you don't give the all clear till it is all clear. There was a 50/50 chance that girl was going to cut under the jump, hell I'd even say more then that just from experience of watching inexperienced people run through the park. She was downhill to the skier and he hit the jump anyway.
  15. Didn't notice you were a skier.
  16. You can just ride on and 50-50 most of the box style rails. Very little balls needed.
  17. Rails are easier, especially the box style that all the moutains use now, thats why more people hit them.
  18. I might drive upi tonight just to check it out
  19. Other then the crowd yesterday was sick. Awesome setup all around.
  20. The DFD moved. The up flat is now a down flat. Looks to be a new jump as well. Both parks had pretty sick flow all last week, tons of different lines and options.
  21. The land of the top jump could really use some light. The jump was perfect yesterday during the day, but once it got dark it was impossible to spot the landing on spins.
  22. Parks yesterday were sick. Jumps were great. The hip in cascade was fun as hell until the landing got really icy. The DFD and up to flat were sick. And the double c was a fun little butter pad.
  23. Looks like BC made a ton of snow last night.
