  1. Just check the web cams you can see almost the complete run on each park.
  2. Almost all of black bear is/was a pile of snow.
  3. Turning is so overrated anyway.
  4. Is your board detuned? I don't think I have caught an edge on any of the boxes or rails at bear.
  5. So you saw the kid and still hit the jump?
  6. Setup yesterday was awesome. Butter pad is sick. The up flat is fun, but it needs to be straighened. Jumps in cascade where perfect for spinning. The step down box and rainbow in BB were set up really well. The jumps in BB were pretty good, but tough with the blind landings and lots of people hanging out there.
  7. Looks like they might have a butter pad style jump in cascade.
  8. Cascade looks pretty nice right now. The groomers are still out. But the up flat looks like it will be good and there is a lot of snow on the 1/4. BB has a nice A frame and the jumps look to be re-cut, hard to tell on the cam though.
  9. People mentioned something along the lines of that in the blue mt. forum before.

    Binding Help

I'm a big fan of those Romes.
  11. Oh no I got that...but that doesn't make it any less retarded.
  12. One is correct and the other is retarded.
  13. Good job, that was fun as shit yesterday. That is how it is supposed to be setup. My friend and I tried to do that one other day it was open but there wasn't good enough snow to get it setup.
  14. I'd be pretty stoked if they got it open and they kept it decent. Last year in CO I was getting some nice tricks in their pipe and it would be fun to throw them again.
  15. I thought the 1/4 was fine, its a little steep but not terrible.
  16. The need some snow over there, it was getting really thin in some spots.
  17. Never a huge fan of fences like that, it makes speed checking the jumps impossible.
  18. Yeah today wasn't half bad.
  19. That would be cool.
  20. Word. The step up / down whatever you wanna call it is cool to. And the 1/4 was pretty fun the other day, it was a little tricky but hitable, once the weather gets better the 1/4 could be pretty damn fun.
  21. Sounds like you were at fault here.
  22. After the park crew cut the jump there was a very clear deck and knuckle. I walked off 20 feet from the lip to the knuckle, but like I said most people were clearing that easily. Either way, no matter the size that jump was awesome.
  23. I'd rather wait a few minutes and get a sick run through the park then waste an entire run getting snaked on every hit. The parks I rode like that had much bigger crowds then bear and the waits were not bad at all. You can't do anything about people riding over lips, they have just as much of a right to do that as you do to hit it however you want. The problem is people dropping on other people, and standing in landings and what not.
  24. Making it hard to get into the park doesn't work either. Ski patrol just needs to patrol the park and call out people not following smart style. Its not hard it just needs to be implemented. I have ridden two parks that were controlled very well. Mt Snow and Snowmass, both at least 3 or 4 years ago. But basically, they had an employee sit at the entrance to the park and stop every one on the way in. He would let groups of 8-10 people go in at a time. No stopping and waiting with 10 buddies. No hiking. You just dropped and rode through the park. Once one group of 10 got 1/2 way through the next group dropped. It worked great. It didn't matter if you were a beginner of a pro, you could ride through with out getting snaked 30 times.
  25. I walked it off to at least 20 ft to the knuckle. And it was very easy to clear that by a good amount.
