  1. I'd love to see the wall ride set parallel to the trail with an angled booter up to it.
  2. Could do something like the all wooden park at BB.
  3. I just live in West Chester. I live over by the West Goshen skate park.
  4. Ride is usually pretty good with stuff like this even though that isn't a product defect. Either go back to the shop you got them at and have them contact Ride or contact them yourself explain what happened and they might hook you up with another high back.
  5. Word. Good features but there really isn't a good flow through the park IMO.
  6. What kind of binding and what part of the binding broke?
  7. 40mins is a hike? I live in West Chester and I'm up there almost every day. People would bitch like crazy if they closed one of the parks.
  8. Word. Thats how the jumps in Cascade were when they were first cut.
  9. Not a bad setup up. I def. like the step box better when it is a step down though.

    Waxing

For me every 3rd or 4th wax is pretty much once a season I don't have the time ro do it more then that. I've heard bad stuff about using them too, but I have used them for years without any issues usually at the end of the season. Good point, I forgot to mention that.
  11. Could be a number of things. Stoping your head, opening up, sliding off the lip instead of popping, etc... without seeing you try them it is hard to tell. Keep practing and checking out vids like this: to try and figure out what you are doing wrong.

This could be from the iron not being hot enough. Keep adjusting the heat of the iron, if it is smoking it is too hot. Also keep in mind it doesn't matter if it is smooth or not just that it is covered with wax. Here are a few more tips: - I usually start off with a hot scrape. I'll drip and iron the board with some left over wax and I'll scrape it off without letting it cool. This does two things. It pulls a bunch of crap out of the base and also gets the base ready to absorb the good wax coat. - Every 3rd or 4th time I'll use some base cleaner after I hot scrape the base just to give a real good cleaning. - Then I wax the board taking my time to get a nice thin coat of wax all over the base. Let it cool for at least 30 mins. - Once it is cooled, I will usually give it a quick run over with the iron again with no extra wax just to make sure I got everything covered well. - Then it is just scraping and buffing.
  13. Talked to a few people who have ridden them and they seem to be mixed on the idea. Some people loved them because they are simple and quick. Others didn't like the lack of a second strap to really get that custom feel. I have my request in to demo a pair so I'll post here if/when I get them.

It will be easier to give tips/advice if you tell us what you are doing now.
  15. New setup looks pretty good. Rainbow is out on BB. Step ip is on Cascade with some other interesting looking rails. I'll be up later today to check it out.
  16. Take Cascade if you want jumps. You can hit the entire jump line and still cut over to the anti jump.
  17. I agree that needs to be moved. When it was first set up there it was awesome, but it has gotten pretty beat up since then.
  18. I'm picking up a lot of repressed homosexual vibes from your post...is there something you aren't telling us? Yeah because telling someone to try a different trick that is just as easy is so bad..lol. You guys crack me up. You trads really should learn to look in the mirror and read your own posts in this thread. Its comical the amount of irony in this thread, but hey keep going this is fun.
  19. Well that explains that. LOL. I guess your ban wasn't long enough. Now thats just crazy talk. *crickets*
  20. Yet you keep clicking in thread. You're not that bright are you? And I'm still pretty dumbfounded that people would take any comment on a topic as subjective as style as fact...seriously...
  21. "Straight backflips are stupid on a snowboard anyway. Go for a rodeo or over corked 5 instead, they are just as easy and are much better looking tricks. " Yeah thats sounds nothing like an opinion at all, seeing as how all of snowboarding is subjective anyway. But hey lets look at your first post... "Nope" Much beter then what I said
  22. No I bring up videos and the tricks in them because a major point of videos is to show nice, stylish, progressive tricks along with all the other aspects of the culture. These videos are loaded with way more corked style tricks then laid out flips so obviously I'm not the only one with my opinion. So going back to my original point...that IN MY OPINION, that big enough for you tards to see, corked and off axis tricks are more stylish TO ME Don't wan't to read what I have to say...don't click in the thread. Pretty simple concept really. There are plenty of other threads for you to display your stunning intellect in.
