I was up at Blue on monday and there was no 70 foot table...it was closer to 45 or 50.

I'm not really sure what you are talking about here. The big kicker has the two hits on it and the flat down rail. The smaller kicker is aimed a bit to the right to stay away from the rail. And the big kicker is aimed straight down the hill. It was super smooth yesterday and set you up perfect for the middle table or battle ship rail. If you are worried about people being in the way you should have someone spot the jump for you. As far as the second kicker...the landing isn't staggered and it was really nice with a smooth transition on it yesterday.

Bears park was sick yesterday. They groomed everything out, jumps had super smooth faces, landings were nice and soft and not rutted out. Snow was a little slow in the morning by by the afternoon ot was pretty sick.
-
Um the park was freshly groomed yesterday and the park crew was out all day keeping it super nice.
-
Me and 2 of my buddies will be there from about noon on. Well be in the park filming and riding so feel free to hit us up.

Fresh snow and big crowds really don't help parks that much. Give them a day or two and things should be looking better.

Thats what happens to a park when there is a bunch of fresh snow and a ton of people show up. Not much you can do about it at all. From what I heard they where grooming last night and everything should be in much better condition tonday.

Yeah I was referring to next year.

My guess is it will be on the middle jump. It was last year. I'm glad people like the colored light idea. It was seriously one of the coolest things I have seen and ridden on and made night riding so much better.

I'm going up there in a bit to check it out. I'm not expecting to much in the way of good conditions. Maybe a decent hit or two to hike but thats about it.

I usually ride BC durning the day but this season I've had a few nite sessions. Are there any plans for upgrading the lighting in the main park? It is pretty bad. The landing on the top jump isn't lit at all. And there are some other really dark spots in other areas. Last year I did a tour of Canada and hit a bunch of mountains. One of the coolest things I saw at one mountain was how they lit their park. On top of having just really nice lighting throughout the entire thing, they had colored spot lights on the jumps. The faces of the jumps were washed in a nice purple light and the landings were green. It made doing spins and flips at night so much easier. I think BC could benefit from a similar kind of setup. It makes night riding so much better.

I was up all afternoon and night last night. Other then a few bare and thin spots the conditions are fine. The smalelr park has some rutted out landing on some of the rails though. The big park is good. The jumps are in good shape and most of the rails are holding up well. The halfpipe has 2 spots on each wall that are good as well.

I was up there last night and there was plenty of snow. My friend is up there right now and I'm going to be there in about 2 hours and he said there is plenty of snow. Look at the webcam...again PLENTY OF SNOW. Sure its not 2 ft of fresh, but its also not dirt runs like it was earlier in the season. And it was cold enough to blow snow last night...and the word yesterday was that they were going to blow snow. Current setup is pretty sick. Decent jumps with some awesome rail lines. The pipe is ok. Kinda got chunked up from the weather.
-
Pretty sure Bear blew some snow last night.
-
The worst is lessons through the half pipe. It is hard enough to keep a decent pipe cut with out having a lesson of 2 year olds pizza wedgeing down the middle of it with absolutely no clue about what is going on around them. Last year I was coming out of a mctwist on my backside wall and as I came an entire lesson including instructor were in my way.

Plenty of snow.
-
Bear. The new setup is awesome and will only continue to get better.
-
I was up there all day yesterday. The park set up on Bear and Cascade was sick except for the snow blowers that made the kickers unhitable. But some really nice rail lines on both runs.
-
Channel 10 was at BC yesterday talking to people about it.
-
They were blowing all day today.

Mid-Atlantic Snowboard Series competitions this weekend

Go on Sunday, only the pipe will be closed. -
All three jumps on the main run were sick yesterday.

The park is open.
-
Yeah I got to hit it in the warm up session

If you read what I wrote...son...you would see that I said Blue has better jumps. Which would be expect since they were able to blow more snow early in the season and have more snow on the trails. Again if you would read you would see that I said I was there last week. All I'm saying about Blues park is that with the snow they have they could have a much better setup. Sure they have some decent sized tables, but the rails aren't very good, the run lines aren't great, and the overall setup could be changed up every now and then.
