    Wow BC...

From the website... It's a high volume day at Bear Creek with lots of skiers and riders hitting the slopes! Please carpool so that we have enough room for everyone! UPDATE 11:50AM: Bear Creek is currently full to capacity for parking. We anticipate additional spots becoming available this afternoon or evening
  2. We're doing Blue either Saturday or Sunday morning depending on when we do BC.
  3. Bob and I are venturing out either tonight or tomorrow morning and wondered if anyone knows what the rest of the mountain looks like. Thanks in advance.
  4. X2!!!!! My goal this season is to do the dirty in the tubing tent. But not on Gaper day when I'm too drunk to be quiet.
  5. Actually I didn't even get a canned response. I do know they opened the e-mail because I got the read receipt but that's it. Whatever. And you wonder why we haven't been up yet. Imagine me trying to ski in that crap.
  6. I actually really like BC. When they have snow and the weather cooperates they really do shine. Their customer service (except for the one tubing incident we had) is also very good. Truth be told when conditions are good at BC I don't even mind the lack of terrain. I'll ski a short ass, excellent trail 100 times without being bored over a long one full of mashed potatoes, death cookies and newbies any day. Even if I got to ride a fancy schmancy sixpack lift to get to it. Exactly. Or we need Blue's management to care like BCMark does. Sad to say that the likelihood of of both is about equal. Oh the lies. Your nose is going to grow off your face if you don't stop it
  7. Did you not read the other posts? LEGITIMATE complaints were discussed at length over there.
  8. Yeah... the snowboarding school sucks!! Wait... I don't snowboard. Nevermind.
  9. God does it ever. I really want you to do a volunteer herding or two this weekend. Just take charge Doug. Haha.
  10. Bear Creek's food is disgusting and horribly expensive. The lodge is beautiful though.
  11. FYI I never even got an acknowledgement from Blue on my letter/ e-mail. Too bad.
  12. Couldn't have put it better myself.
  13. Hmmm... maybe there will be two trips up North this year . Thanks for the suggestion... I'll definitely have to check it out. Nice damage man. Being 30 (or almost 30) rocks BTW. I'm not one of those chicks who cares about being an old fuck. Mini van!!!????!! I'll never go that route... no kids in my future and no need for that much space in a vehicle in my world. I used to hate having a February birthday. Now that Bob and I are back on the snow I couldn't ask for a better month. I really do love nothing more than being in the hot tub in sub zero temps. Snow sticks to the eye lashes and my pigtails freeze right up. So fun!!!
  14. We stayed at The Inn of the Six Mountains and it was a crap hole. Hopefully The Killington Grand will be better. Why can't VT resorts be better? BTW at 30 the hair and balls are still fine. 40 however is a different story. Anyway what's so bad about a little sag? At least as a guy you can kinda get away with it.
  15. That sounds delicious actually. I wish we could get to BC this week. Ugh.
  16. No, no, I sent it thru the website but addressed it to her. Not afraid to step on toes because I was nothing but appropriate and fair. As a business owner I love nothing more than customer feedback so I can't imagine why she wouldn't feel the same way. Besides, I'm not a season pass holder and never will be so what could really be done to me. Take that Blue Mt. Ha!
  17. In case anyone cares we just booked my 30th B-Day trip for Feb 23 thru 27th atK-Mart. I am sooo excited. I hope that you guys were right about the gondola being all the way open during the week. I'll be sure to let you all know how it goes. We're trying the Killington Grand this time so I'll let you know about that too.
  18. I actually sent her a big e-mail today.
  19. Conde Nast Traveler: Whistler top ski resort town Conde Nast Traveler magazine's annual ski poll named Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia the best ski resort town in North America. Whistler Blackcomb also won for best apres-ski and activities, as well as for best local dining. Also in the top 10 rankings, which appear in the magazine's December issue, are Telluride, Colo.; Deer Valley, Utah; Aspen, Colo.; Jackson Hole, Wyo.; Sun Valley, Idaho; Vail, Colo.; Beaver Creek, Colo.; Park City, Utah, and Sun Peaks, British Columbia. Big White in British Columbia won for top terrain. Deer Valley won for best lifts and lines. Jackson Hole scored highest for local ambiance.
  20. You just jinxed yourself. Ugh.
  21. I guess when you come all the way from Philly to ski the double blacks FAST and one is closed you just freak. You could tell he was a pro too... wrist straps were in full effect and he was sporting the latest technology in ski jackets. He did Blue proud fo sho. That's why I got married... to ensure that someone is legally required to be around for just that reason. It helps to use the "smileys" but they're gay so there you go.
  22. X2 That is a sad, sad thing honey.
  23. Wait... all you have to do is bust your leg so that it points the other way and you get a free season pass??!! Poor park rats take note.
  24. Only Vermont cause we're also doing a beach trip. Surf, sand and snow within a month rocks.
