I can't help you but congrats on the free skis. Nice.

Scrape with razor then use adhesive remover or mineral spirits for getting the glue remnants (boogers) off.

Nope but once you see it you'll think I did. It's soooo hot. I might wear it... you know... in the bedroom. Grrrrrr.
-
I'm about to buy a one piece on Ebay. Now for the neon accessories...
-
A headband, tight ski pants and leg warmers, a fanny pack... A one piece would be hot... a fanny pack is also very stylish. I know a pretty hot guy who wore a tin foil tie to a gaper day... that was good too.

I'm gonna hit up Goodwill this week. I already have some florescent stuff thanks to Bob. I really wanted to wear a dress but it looks like you have to go retro to get the discount.

Me too. I'm totally a Tripadvisor fag. Haha. Thanks for all of the great info. I am going to look into Vail too since you aren't the 1st person to say that we would probably like it there. I am getting sooo excited and we are still a year out. Lame.

Even more reason for me to hitch a ride with Bobert

a question for those that ski/board in rainy weather
sexkitten replied to putbadstuffhere13's topic in Blue Mountain
Then there's nothing cool about skiing in the rain. Haha. See... we settled that one pretty quickly. -
Unless you're Bear Creek. Sorry BC, I had to. You'll have to be more than positive to save BC. They never do well once the warm, wet weather hits.
-
We only go out the night before our day off and the last night. Ski (school) nights we're in bed by 10.
-
No offense taken. That's the kind of info I am looking for actually. I recognize that I'm not a pro and I'd hate to dump a bunch of cash on a trip to a mountain that, for the most part, scares the crap out of me.

I really like skiing the day after a rain storm but since I ski with FWBob I've never actually skied in the rain. You could always get a taste of what it will be like by going outside right now (it's raining here so it must be raining everywhere) in all of your gear and running around for a while. If you are cool now you should be pretty cool then. Or not. -
Out West and not BC? Really? Don't forget that I like groomers and that powder kicks my ass. I'm really looking for a mountain with a bunch of long runs on which to cruise all day, a posh ass hotel to lounge in and some decent bars and restaurants close in case we do want to venture out. And money isn't really an issue since this will be "the big 3-0" trip.

Where were you "that day"? Hmmm?
-
Enough out of you!! Haha. I really need some info from people I sort of know. I've read all of the online stuff and now I need PASR stuff.

I am in the begining stages of planning out 2009 big trip and really want to go to Whistler. Have any of you been? What do you think? Help. Haha. Thanks in advance.

Gotta love that. I almost want to do another VT trip before the end of the season now.

Bromely looked really cool actually both from the road and from the infomercial that played at Okemo. If your lodging is the place I think it is then yes, it is very dated but not horrific. FYI, it only took us 6 hors door to door when we went to Okemo which is about 45 minutes past Bromley. I guess I should say that we we only really make 2 or 3 short stops for eating, peeing, gas, etc though. I don't know if that will work with kids. Can't wait for the TRs!!
-
I just couldn't help it...

See... I told you... beautiful time to go to Okemo. I was wondering how the crowds were though?

Are you buying?

It's too hard and too damn cold to constantly take pics while skiing. I hate to say it but Doug was right. As for the facemask shot... the rents like that stuff so there you go. We actually considered leaving those on for sex that afternoon. Kidding. Ewww. I actually hate face masks but since it was like 2 degrees with a negative wind chill that day so they were a necessary evil. Oh, and just because I'm covered in these pics doesn't mean that there weren't uncovered pics taken on this trip. Remember that we did go in the hot tub shortly after that and then back upstairs. I'm just not allowed to post those pics. Haha.
