YAY!!! I am starting to get excited!!! I wanted to ski for a few weeks bit had a bunch of family stuff. Now but I'm starting to be glad we waited cause the early part of this weekend is looking like it's going to be perfect. See you all at the mountain.

We are going February 26th thru the 29th. We are staying at Jackson Gore and frankly I can't wait. BTW, thanks to Doug for helping me choose which mountain to visit this year.

Thanks. Did you happen to see how Sasquatch and Kodiak were?

A group of us are hitting up CB for tubing on Sunday morning. I've never tubed and am not a fan of CB but the tickets were free (won at my company Holiday party) so I'm going damn it. Any info on how the tubing is or even how it looks from the slopes would be appreciated. Thanks.

We are probably going to be at BC on Saturday morning (Before the Blue crew yells at me please note that I have a family retirement party in the afternoon and cannot get to and back from Blue in time) and would love an overview of how the non park trails are doing across the mountain. Thanks in advance.

Bingo. Sorry to hear about your injury Jeff. Take your drugs and do what the docs say and you'll be back in no time. Maybe you can be a lodge Mom this season... or not.

Utah court: Ski resorts can be liable Tue Dec 18, 3:06 PM ET SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Supreme Court says ski resorts are not off the hook for skier injuries if some accidents are preventable. The decision Tuesday comes in a lawsuit filed by a Snowbird skier who collided with a wall made of railroad ties that was hidden by snow. The man suffered broken ribs, a kidney injury, liver damage and a collapsed lung. Snowbird claimed William Rothstein waived his rights when he signed a release to ski at the resort. Utah law protects resorts from liability from the inherent risks of skiing, such as falling or hitting a tree. But the Supreme Court says that law doesn't cover everything. The decision reinstates Rothstein's lawsuit against Snowbird.

Last year at Blue these two fat, old chicks were telling me that blading is the way to go cause it doesn't tire you out as much. I wanted to tell them that it wouldn't hurt them to push it a little but I was afraid they'd sit on me.

Uh oh... Fair Weather Bob (FWB) and I might be there Saturday morning but not Sunday. We have a freaking party Saturday night and won't be home till very late.

I liked the last poach the best. Those renegade ski instructors rocked. I might love them.

From "Blue Ppwder Issue #7" "We finally did it! The snowmakers were able to start blowing snow on the trails last night! We need the weather to cooperate with us but we're working to get the ground covered as fast as we can for your winter snowsports enjoyment."

I think my work is going to have a ski day there in February. Most people have never skied and it's right in our backyard so the bosses figured it would be the best place.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

Oh yeah... I forgot about that. Uh I don't think he was saying that it wasn't successful I think that he was saying it wasn't what BC promoted it to be. I'm pretty sure that the snow gods don't care about a bonfire. Bras, panties and flaming ski equipment are what count damnit.
