Thanks man, I think we'll take your advice. We did enough lift line waiting last night at BC to last the season.

We've got some personal stuff going on that is kind of serious and has been keeping us busy in the mornings. We should be back to mornings next week though. I was hoping it wouldn't be too bad since more terrain is open. I know, I know. Don't rub it in. It could not be helped. Maybe we'll just finish our Killington shopping today and keep our tickets for next Saturday.

Hi all. Had a great time at BC last night. Conditions were great and the trails did not feel that crowded despite the large number of people there. I think it had a lot to do with the trail widening that BC has done. I was really surprised at how big they made Timberline and how much fun I had on the trail. I won't lie, the lift lines were disgusting but I guess that's what you for going on a Saturday night. Coverage was pretty good considering the weather. As expected there were a few grassy/ rocky spots but they were pretty much easily avoided so it wasn't really a big deal. I do wish they would fix the "uphill" sections leading to Timberline so that you don't have to pole to ski the trail. I also wish they would grade the lift line area a little better cause it is a bit steep. I don't really love people bumping into me and falling and I also don't love having to pole plant to keep upright. Oh well. I missed Mark which kind of sucks. There's always next time. Overall it was a busy but fun night at BC.

There is no public transportation to BC. I think I've posted this before. That or I'm having major deja vu.

Don't you guys remember last year when Chute was open but had a big mud hole in the middle? Blue put up a thin cover sign and sang the hundred percent open song without any embarrassment. No, the purpose of Chute is to check the egos of people who think they can't ski/ ride harder trails than they really can. If ever you need a rest and want some entertainment while doing it forgo the lodge and head for the bottom of Chute instead. I've seen more falls on it than Challenge. I've even seen a group of Asians start down the trail, realize it was too steep for them and then attempt to climb back up. Some of them actually took their skis off. Hilarious.

Thank you. A kid on a board plowed into me on Main St. Sunday cause he had shit edges (he said he usually stays in the park) and couldn't stop. He apologized and I was OK but he could have hit a kid or really hurt someone. At least he had the courtesy to scream that he couldn't stop before he hit me.

I wouldn't be scared to wait on the lift but I bet it was mighty cold.

We were there. We decided to sleep in a little and didn't get there till around 8:30. You might have missed the pigtails cause they were tucked into my Turtle Fur , which was pulled up to my nose to keep me warm and dry. We mainly skied Lazy Mile to Falls to the quad but we got a few Main Street runs in too. Didn't get over to Tut's, Raceway or the park but we usually don't ski those trails so it was OK. Also, I think Raceway was closed for racing cause I saw the poles out but we didn't go over and check. Besides the ice at the top of Main St. conditions were pretty good overall. The lift lines weren't bad either now that I think about it. The quad was barely used which was nice and the C lift wait couldn't have been more than 3 minutes for us. We ended up getting a little bored with skiing around newbies and on the same two trails so we left after lunch. I didn't really see any PASR's but since I can never remember what you all look like I'm not surprised. I is unusual that I didn't see Jeff though. I usually do at least once. Oh well. We'll definitely be up there at least one day next weekend and might even do a Blue day and a BC day or do the PARS day at JF& BB so look for us. YAY WINTER!!!

Yay for the return of winter! Bob and I will be up tommorow around 7:15. See you all then.

How about a mock "run the mountain for a day" where you follow the real people around and make suggestions that can be ignored or used. Then the winner could write a report and put it on BC's website. Maybe they would even run it in the local paper.
