  1. We are seriously thinking about doing two days there next weekend. We have never been and really want to get up there this year. We would get there late Thurs., ski Fri. and Sat., then get up and drive home Sun. Bob is even up for the run. What do you think, is it worth it?

    Skiers Edge

I've been doing a million "weighted" lunges, squats & wall sits. It seems to have helped as the last few outings have been easier in the 4th & 5th hour of skiing. I would really like a Skiers Edge but it really hurts to shell out $1,000.00 when I could just buy a season pass to Blue and take a couple unpaid days to go there for the same amount of money. Thanks again for all of the imput. I guess I will decide in April if it is worth the $ or not.
  3. Damn I wish I was you. My favorite trails are Razors (when it is good) and Switchback. Let us know how it was.
  4. We skipped. The cams showed more people than we wanted to deal with and besides, we were pretty wiped out from a day of skiing Blue (Sat.) and a day of shoveling our driveway. Maybe a weekday this week we'll use our free tix.
  5. How was BC today? Thanks.
  6. We might do an evening BC tommorow. We have free tickets. We'll look for you if we get there.
  7. And we thought Blue's park was good today. Way to spoil our snow high Papa!
  8. We skied the pipe today and it was kinda scary. What is the deal with the craters at the top? Attn: Blue...Fix the pipe please!
  9. When aren't newbies in the way and wrecking the fun? Bob & I have been playing around in the halfpipe and the park recently and being new at it (and old to boot) we sometimes screw up and get in the way. We don't want to wreck someone else's run, but we want to use thepark and pipe too. Our solution has been to do our park and pipe runs early, when no one is there. That way we get to use the feature and not mess up other riders/ skiers. Just remember that for us newbies the park is sometimes a scary place, but if you give us a chance we will get better and get out of your way.
  10. The article said you have to be mad to ski there. From the pictures I kinda agree. It has been said that I am a little imbalanced, so may MRG is just the place for me. I wrote down the lodging you mentioned and will keep it for when we go. I should say "if" we go. Convincing Bob to ski with the crazies might be hard.
  11. See how behind the times I am. I just checked Blue's web site today for the 1st time since last weekend. Thin cover is OK with me but giant, full trail, unavoidable, ski gouging bear spots are not. I can't imagine skiing worse conditions but maybe it's cause I don't love to ski as much as you, ya crazy bastard. I had to post this topic anyway becuse Chute is my current arch enemy. Somehow I always manage to fall on that trail.

    Chute

It's about freaking time. I have never seen Blue leave a trail that bad open for so long. I guess they figure with the recent weather and the upcoming snow storm it won't hurt them too much to say "29 trails open" and not 30.
  13. I am so excited I could burst!! YAY!!! I owe at least 3 bras and 5 thongs if this really goes down.
  14. YAY!!! Oh these posts to totally help me convince Bob to ditch house work and go Saturday AND Sunday.
  15. I have not skiied Razors yet this season becuase it is always closed for racing. It makes me wanna cry, but I understand.
  16. I thought you guys enjoyed last weeks challenging conditons! I know I truly enjoyed skiing what I consider to be Blue's best trail: Poop Chute (recently renamed by Bob). Seriously though, Challenge and Lazy were a bit rough on PASR day and I too hope they blow there soon. I know Blue will have it under control (they always do) and can't wait to come on Saturday. I almost have Bob convinced.
  17. Who knew. That is pretty cool.
  18. Maybe I'm dumb, but what exactly is glacier skiing and into what month can you do it? Thanks.
  19. Just read a pretty cool article about Mad River in one of those free publications and wondered who was been and what you thought.
  20. 30 inches!!! No damn way. I have a serious question now... Do you really have to remove the "tree" donations on the lift. How the hell do you get you drawers off? I have lots of lingerie but no panties with velcro or snaps. I have always been afraid to contribute to the tree anyway becuse my bras are kinda big. I always picture the one I throw breaking loose, flying down the mountain and maiming some little kid. Scary.
  21. Aaahhh, stop wrecking it for us. models schmodels, if Accuweather's models they say snow, then I believe THEM. I have to, otherwise I may have to kill myself. Damnit February, you were supposed to be THE month for skiing this year.
  22. Promising kinky stuff won't work. He already knows I want to and will do the kinky stuff anyway. Maybe I'll promise kinky stuff at the mountain. The lifts are awfully empty in the morning and the are plenty of woods...just a thought. If Blue makes you stay when there is lots of snow, where do they put everyone? There are no hotels on site or really close are there? Will we all have to bunk together in the lodge? Can I pick my bunk neighbors now, just in case? Hmmm, so much to think about.

    Spyder Jacket

RacerChick, all of me would fit in a kids large except my boobs and legs. Not to get too personal, but I am 5'10" tall with a 37" inseam and a D cup. The kids jacket would fit but not zip and the pants might come to my knee if I am lucky. Good thought though. I get tees from the little boys section all the time.
  24. Snow makes me horny too. I always hope for 10 inches, but that's just me. We are going to Blue Saturday and maybe Sunday too, if I can convince Bob.

Never heard of that brand Justo, I'll have to do some research.
