Chanel Hits The Slopes In case you were thinking that skiing and snowboarding weren't already luxe enough, now you can make the winter sports a lot more high-end. Chanel has come out with its own line of skis and snowboards, complete with winter sport accessories such as goggles, poles, and the like. And we thought Gucci was getting sporty! Would you shell out for Chanel sports gear?

We'll be up Saturday morning and possibly Sunday morning too depending on my legs and how late we stay at 212 on Saturday night.

I actually saw BC from my parent's place on Christmas and was surprised to see as much white as I did. Good job as always Mark & the whole BC crew. Don't know what you sacrificed to Ullr this year but whatever it was it worked.

We're planning an overnight trip to Elk for late season. I've only been a few times but I really liked it when we went. Now I just have to figure out a non creepy place to crash for one night. Hmmmmmm.

You'll love it there. I do! Only problem is that's for us it's a quite a hike especially after a day of skiing.

I agree with the poster that said local parks and recreations departments. It's only a couple of dollars savings but a couple of bucks here and there add up. I also suggest that you put lift tickets on your Christmas list. That always works for us.

Really? I've always been concerned that as a "special needs" skier most of the local instructors wouldn't be of much help. Maybe this year I'll go talk to someone and see. Thanks!

Honestly I've never had a lesson and it shows. I have gotten pointers though from my husband and the boys that helped but really I should work with a professional. I'm only concerned that a crappy Blue instructor may not be able to work around my mobility issues from my surgeries. I'd hate to waste the time on the hill and money.

Tee hee. I'm trying to be negative so it actually happens. Every time we get excited about a big snow storm it doesn't happen. Wish for dry weather and it will dump... build it and they will come... you know.
