Big Pocono run? Get the hell out.

I worked a Doppelmayr quad that was installed the same year as CB's and we'd run it in crosswinds up to 55 miles per hour. We'd run it non-stop on days where it would snow five inches an hour. I ran it all season and had zero (0) lift evacs. This is all antecedal evidence, but I find it extremely hard to believe that CB wouldn't have kept that lift running if it were a holiday weekend. Hahahahahaha.

You can not defend CB on this one. Sorry.

Bear finally does something nice for their passholders and this is how they're repaid. I say shorten that guarantee to 55 days just because of the responses in this thread.

I'm sure there's a large percentage of visitors to CB that prefer Nile Mile to Cliffhanger. That doesn't mean you should regrade Cliffy into a cruiser. Anyone who "likes" CB's parks is either a beginner or a masochist. I offered constructive critisim for years. I realized a long time ago that any suggestions were either flat-out ignored or falling on deaf ears. Now I just sit back and laugh while mountains like Bear Creek and JF/BB completely blow CB out of the park pond.

I guess it takes a real man to handle a real ski. Good luck with your toys. Keep telling yourself that, maybe one day it will come true. Probably not, though :/
