Off-topic but High Cascade has had the same Planet Snow picnic tables for three years now and we've never had a problem with them. Or any of the other rails, for that matter.

It's a good rule of thumb to assume that resorts lose money every day after Easter/Spring Break. Knowing this, why do many west coast resorts stay open well into April, May, and sometimes June? Well, the huge bases built up during the winter help, but that doesn't change the fact that they're still losing money on a daily basis. It's all about reputation. Now, I'm not saying that it will happen, but if JFBB were to stay open until April they would do two things; 1. Lose money, and 2. Sell a shitload more season passes for next year. I can't really see a NEPA resort losing money to satisfy pass holders, but JFBB has broken the mold this year, and will hopefully continue to do so.

This would imply that you presented a cohesive argument for any of your points. So far all I've heard you say has been something to the tune of "lol you guys are dumb crybabies who only care about yourselves who cares if there are people making the mountain unsafe they paid for a lift ticket just like you did!" I can't believe you honestly think that park passes are unfair. This is less about pleasing people and more about mountain saftey.

To be quite honest I think both of you are blowing things out of proportion. FGT could stop with the thinly-veiled titles and you could try to ignore it, but I doubt either of those are going to happen any time soon :/

Please explain how saying that snowboarders make worse patrollers than skiers is trolling. Maybe next time I should say "snowboarders make worse patrollers are anybody who disagrees with me is making themselves look like idiots." That seems to be the only type of statement you guys understand. I'd be willing to bet that if you polled the active members here and asked them which makes better patrollers, skiers or snowboarders, the resounding majority will favor with skiers. I'm not going to bother explaining why they are better suited for patrol duties because it's pretty blatant to anyone who knows anything about skiing and snowboarding. You guys can continue to call us idiots for stating the truth but when it comes down to it 90% of resorts will not hire snowboarders for patrol duties. I wonder why that is?
