Terrain Park Music @ Camelback--Will it change?
DHarrisburg replied to mtnbiker99x's topic in Camelback
That's way better than when we had to listen to that awful Disturbed song ten times a night. -
Do you think you're going to spend another year lapping the same trail 25 times a night before you start working for someone other than your father?
-
I would love to ride with you guys next time I come back to PA. Maybe you can teach me a trick or two.
-
I think they do, but I doubt they'd dedicate winch cat hours to the park. Hopefully they'll prove me wrong.
-
Nope, just those gloves.
-
Good luck finding one for that price. They're limited edition and retail for $75, but I wouldn't be suprised to find them on eBay for ~$200 in a few months.
-
I'm on the right. Anyone under 18 is required to wear a helmet, over 18 and it's optional. Because I don't want the melanoma that goes with it. Goggle tans look pretty stupid, anyway. Most girls I know who don't ski or snowboard think they look absolutely ridiculous, to boot.

first on-hill day for session two is tomorrow, until then you're going to have to settle for lifestyle shots B.Hayes and yours truly
-
Arrival day. Don't you worry your pretty little head, Doug, I'll get plenty of riding in this summer.
-
IT'S SPELLED "CREW."
-
I'm working on it.

KEEP THIS BULLSHIT OUT OF MY THREAD THANKS IN ADVANCE

Photos by request: Burton Blunt 151 Burton Sabbaths Check the detail on these things Anon Figments Kinda boring, but I'm not a big fan of gaudy goggles.
-
Right now I've just been talking about product, travel budget, and photo incentives. If I get published photos I'll get money, but no salary.
-
I'm in talks with a few people and I get flowed product on a pretty regular basis. If I judged my riding simply by sponsorship and I didn't care about riding shitty product I could easily make a video and pick up a few sponsors, but I like the freedom of being able to pick and choose what I ride, rather than be forced to ride something I don't want to ride. There's a lot more to snowboarding then omg gettin' totally sponced bro. I really have no idea why any snowboarder would ride for Head, unless they are paying you a ridiculous amount of money and pressing you custom boards.
-
Hahaha, that reminds me of something I saw on-hill at Mammoth not too long ago. Two guys who "ride" for Head were dressed up in old-school tennis outfits and tennis rackets. The rackets were given to them by Head and were worth a couple hundred bucks each. It would have been awesome, provided they would have actually sent them more than one pair of skis that year instead of tennis rackets.
-
If he was that good he wouldn't be riding for Head. Being a "national AM" for Head is nothing to brag about.
-
Or you just call it a wide box. I'm pretty sure this is the dumbest argument on PASR right now.
-
Quite possibly the most humorous post I've read on these boards
-
I've never heard one of these be referred to as a step up to step down.
-
It's not a box in the traditional sense of the term, it's a huge box made out of snow. You roll up, hit the step-up to the box, ride across it, then jump off the end of it. There was a good photo of one back in a Shanghai Six thread, but I'm too lazy to dig it up.
-
Here's the first shot I've got at camp so far; hello crazy arms It's a big butter box that's about 5 feet tall, 12 feet wide, 20 feet long, 8 foot step-up gap to the box, 8 foot gap to landing. That photo was a back 180 switch tailpress cab 360 out. Hopefully I'll have some more stuff to post over the next few days.

Err, I know quite a bit of "industry people" and I can promise that the music selection in a promo video has little to no bearing on the decision to sponsor someone.
