When I first read this I thought to myself "god damn skiing is getting really lame if they've resorted to backflipping to rails." After watching the trailer I have to admit it looked pretty sick.
I listen to mostly rap and even I realize how ridiculous the whole "Yo!" thing has become in skiing/snowboarding.
I mean, seriously, one day a lot of you guys are going to look at yourself in the mirror and say "what the hell am I doing?" I guess that's just a part of being young, though.
I'm pretty sure you'd be able to get away with fitting into a heat-molded 11. I'd say go to the shop, tell them what you want to do and make sure that they fit before you pay.
here's the new gear I got over the last few days, courtesy of our wonderful sponsors at High Cascade
You can't really tell from the photos, but the palms have "hi" or "bye" printed in a bunch of different languages.
They gave us pairs of Black/Grey Rowley XL IIIs but I traded them for these slip-ons at the Vans outlet.
You drop 1 (one) boot size thanks to the lack of an inner liner. Not worth it, IMO, there's way better ways to shave off size when it comes to boots.
You get roosted.
I'd probably go to the Giants game, but that's just me...
Mammoth is really only going to be running three or four chairs (if that) when you get out there and the snow conditions won't be anything to write home about. If you're going to ride there next year I wouldn't really worry about it too much this season.
e. ahahahaha saying that you "hiked up past chair 23 for the goods" is such a joke ahahahahaha
Way to shit on this thread, guys.
Bear Mountain is one of my favorite mountains. Every time I go I have a ton of fun and learn new tricks. I wouldn't live there personally (nice place to visit but town life is echh) but I love going there.
Lib, if you want to talk to me about moving out west hit me up on AIM @ dharrisburg.
All of that footage was either shot on a Sony VX-2000, Canon GL-2, or Panasonic AG-DVX100B.
The Panasonic is out of this world, I wish I had a spare 5k lying around so I could pick one up.
Chairs 1, 3, 6, the gondola, and maybe chair 2 will be open. Upper park is being constructed right now but everything usually turns to slush after 12:30 or so. Also, the mountain is open 7:30-3:00.
