I hate to break it to you like this but you are losing precious ground in this battle with every additional post you make in this thread.

P.S. I'll be wearing a grey hoodie, grey mask, and brown pants again. Since I really don't know any of you, feel free to say hello. My real name is Terence and if I don't respond it's probably because I can't hear you, just yell a little louder

Can you just stop posting for a little while? I believe I've had my fill of ego for the next few years.

It's rad that he placed but as far as I know Volcom doesn't pay for travel to the Finals. Is he just going to pay out of pocket? Also, which division did he place in?

Why bother discussing this over PM when we can do it right here? This thread is pretty beat by now. Is it just that you don't want people to notice the preferential treatment some members receive? As if we didn't have enough drama after the whole Papasteez/'999 now we have to watch Doug drag it back up weeks later in threads about Bode Miller. Doug had no business mucking up that thread and I tried to keep the bullshit in that threat to a minimum by simply reporting the post, NOT by replying to it. Apparently I should just reply because it seems that reporting posts only results in more BS drama. Is your middle name Dave?

holy crap REALLY? I totally thought it was somebody else!!! I didn't say anything about not acting on a report. It'd be nice to keep the name of the person who reported the post private. Next time I'll just call the person out in the thread because apparently reporting doesn't result in anything actually being done. Aww, did I hurt your feelings? It's nice to know that a single mod can ban users without consulting the other mods. Maybe do your job properly and there won't be any complaints.

I rode for about 5 hours today and I have no complaints. There's a few random brown spots, but honestly if they wanted to stay open they could probably push it for another week or two. Shame this is their last weekend.

I'm planning on heading up tomorrow at around 10AM and hopefully I'll be able to stick around and ride with you guys.

Perhaps you should try not posting in the first place.

I'll be picking up my cousin at Liberty tomorrow at Noon, then heading to Bear. I already have word that Papa will be there with his kids, who else is going? I'll most likely be wearing a grey hoodie + grey mask, brown pants, and last year's Acadmey Otterstrom with a white topsheet and black/red base. If you get there and want to find me really easily, call 610.216.9015. If I don't pick up I either don't have service or I'll call you back in a minute.

I got to Blue at around 4PM. I forgot how fun the drive is going to Blue from my house in the Hanover area. Parked at Main Lodge, cruised down to the park and took a few laps. Hiked the flat box and the legendary "light up box" (which, by the way, did not light up ) for a hour or two then left to go bowling. My overall opinion of Blue is that it seems like they're headed in the right direction, but they're focusing on the wrong things. It seems like Blue and spent a good deal of time and money on new boxes/rails, but they still suffer from the biggest problem that plagues small hills; improper set-up and maintenance. Almost every box (and rail!) that I slid tonight was sticky as hell. Nosepressing was like riding a bucking bronco. I didn't see one member of park staff the entire time, and features looked like they hadn't seen a rake or shovel at any point through the day. Finally, the "jumps" to rails were abismal. Please explain the logic behind having a ride-on box that's three feet off the ground. You want it ride-on so that gapers won't hurt yourself, but then you elevate the feature to increase the possibility of injury after the inevitable fall? Here's a few suggestions; first off, re-do the wide open jibzone thing. Placing three rails all next to each other sure looks pretty, but all it really does is take away two more possible features to slide in a run. Second, improve transition. Having a wallride that looks like a L is never a good idea. Third, please have park staff maintain said transitions. I could probably think up some more things that you could improve on, but this is a start. Hopefully you guys can take care of a lot of these problems by next season. I'd rather ride dirty snow with decent features then better coverage with sticky boxes and shitty rails. 1. Stop being a douchebag who sticks his nose in arguments that don't concern him and I will. 2. Whichever mod told you that I reported you is a piece of shit. What's the point of even having people being mods if all they're going to do is laugh off reports because they're buddies with the offender?

I was wearing the grey hoodie + brownm pants and hiking in the park. Oh well, come to bear tomorrow and we can do some flippin' tricks and it will be awesome! More substantial post coming later tonight when I really get a chance to sit down and type.

Dang, first Bode has beef with Lance Armstrong, but now he's just taken it too far...

I just got back to PA tonight, and I'm planning on heading up to Blue tomorrow. Any of you going to be there?

oh hay what's going on in this thread

If you want I can give you the footage I have on my laptop when I come home. I'm down to film a little, too.

I don't know if he really suffers from traditional "need to drink every day of my life" problems as much as he just hasn't realized when the appropriate time is to party. It's a little sad to watch someone with so much potential seemingly throw it away so he can have 3 hours of fun in a bar.

I think you're seriously underestimating some of these boardercross courses. Back when I lived in Mammoth they'd hold an annual BX event that would morph one of the more mellow blues into one of the hairest slopes I've seen. BX isn't exactly my cup of tea but it's extremely unfortunate that this sort of thing could happen.

I can't blame him for taking time off. It's become clear that he's got some personal issues in his life that he needs to work on (hello alcohol). Factor those with the intense spotlight (which had gone from the Olympic golden boy to the Olympic dissapointment) that has been on him for the last few months and you've got a recipe for a serious breakdown. Hopefully he can get his act together and return as a contender.

NO YOU DON'T GET IT STOP POSTING

You should come out when I'm home and take a few laps with me (and any other PASR member who wants to ride).

Spinning on boxes is pretty lame. Not to say that I don't do it from time to time, but it really isn't something that should be bragged about. You know what's even worse? Joining a skiing and snowboarding forum and making your name "SponsoredByForum."

I had a buddy who lacerated his kidney early season and was back on the snow in two weeks. Not exactly the smartest decision, but if you can control yourself and just cruise you should be alright. That's ignoring the fact that somebody can barrel into you and possibly kill you. It's a risky move.
