  1. How much is a battery? What do you mean when you say "relace it?"

    HUNTER

Ahahahahaha holy butts I love this thread.
  3. They sell a cheaper model with a rubber band, but I'd most likely put it in a pocket somewhere that isn't going to open. I usually have my cell phone in my pocket, and I use that to check the time (if lifts don't have clocks, that is).
  4. Because it'd be a watch that I could wear off the hill. I don't like "sporty" watches, and the majority of altimeter watches are pretty ugly. Nixon makes awesome watches and the Delta does a nice job of mixing style and function.

    Tahoe?

When you say "going to Tahoe" do you mean for a trip or are you talking about moving out here. If you're moving, I hope you have a ton of money to spend on passes. If the pre-season prices havn't already jumped up, they will within the next two weeks. I've already spent close to six hundred, and that's with pre-season prices.
  6. That'd be a super-fun box, if the mountain set it up properly. You could either use it as an a-frame, or modify the skirting and use it as a pretty sick flat-down. If it's set up as an a-frame, put some jumps on the side, about two feet behind the one you'd build to hit it straight on. Gapping to the down looks like it'd be a ton of fun.
  7. The Vertech II Ski? I just checked it out on their website. It looks awesome, but for the price I think I'd rather drop another $100 and get the Nixon.
  8. I'm not trying to hate on you at all, I'm just curious as to what problems people have with their products. Is there a possibility that the bending was due to the truck ride out to PA? There's certain things I've noticed over the last few years at hood that were a little disturbing in terms of construction (ie. switching from a full box down flat down to a box top down flat down on rail struts, it's much cheaper but not as durable), and I don't know if they're making rails like that across the board.
  9. I'm interested in snagging an altimeter this season, but I don't know too much about them. All I want to do is track elevation, so I don't need one with a barometer, clock, thermometer, etc. Ideally I'd like to spend under $100 but I know that's aiming a little low. If you know of a product that is really good, but somewhat pricy, let me know anyway. The only product I'm interested right now is the Nixon Delta watch (yeah, I know I said I don't need extras, AND it's pretty pricey, but I do need a new watch and I've been overly pleased with Nixon in the past).
  10. What'd you guys order from them? I worked with their stuff all summer and never had any problems.
  11. Wait, are you calling PlanetSnow rails "junk?"
  12. Hell yeah, Todd. Nice to see you around, again. How'd Mammoth go?
  13. Even if I would completely ignore the other thread, you still come off as a pushy, arrogant prick in this thread. How many other people already told you to take it easy? Perhaps you should heed their advice. Yeah, he's been super helpful to all the new posters in this thread. Half the things he's griping about being posted on the AZ board wouldn't have been posted if it wasn't for his ridiculous, over the top posts. He tells people he's allowed to say whatever he wants because it's his opinion, then goes and tells others that their opinions don't matter. If only everyone was as helpful as him. Please find me one example anywhere on this board (or the Camelback one, for that matter) where I imply that I'm better than anyone else for riding out west. I've said it time and time again, anybody can do what I do if they want to. There's nothing exceptionally special about it. Enjoy riding two days a week on the same three trails for the rest of your life. Sounds exciting.
  14. As long as you recognize that your backyard sucks, it's no big deal. If you start threatening people who say it sucks, then it becomes a problem.
  15. Hahahaha I love it
  16. Holy shit, how did I miss this thread? Ski999, you're an idiot and you need to stop posting. P.S. Pennsylvania sucks for skiing/snowboarding PLEASE DON'T BITE OFF MY FACE
  17. Well, I am horribly sorry for disagreeing with your internet friend.
  18. Mammoth. It might be due to the fact that 75% of the Mammoth racers are from the LA area, but when I worked lifts there were the #1 pain in the ass if I worked anywhere near the race course. I'd rather work the park chair any day than work a race. There's a ton of other things that contribute to my dislike of racing (yes, I don't like snowboarding racing either), but honestly I'm not going to go into it here because I've already pissed enough people off. I'll just leave it at this: I'm sure there are a ton of racers who are nice and polite and follow all the rules, but in my experiences I haven't run across too many of them. And before some of you start chomping at the bit, I know this also describes alot of snowboarders for you, too. I really am confused as to what you're trying to argue. All I've said is that Kass (along with the rest of the snowboard competition circuit) is a skilled athlete and a formidable competitor. You're the one who's been ranting about how you read on the internet that he's a dick. hay guys I read somewhere that Bodie Miller didn't sign an autograph while he was loading a lift god what an asshole!!! I'm really not quite sure what you want me to apologize for: voicing my opinion or indirectly saying I don't like your preferred winter sport.
  19. Woah, who's putting words in other people's mouths now? I never said I didn't like him, hell, I don't even know him. All I know is that he doesn't think Kass (or other "stupid" snowboarders) is a true athlete or competitor. I think you just got your panties in a bunch because you figured out I don't like most ski racers.
  20. We don't diagree on anything, it's just that I can look past a person's personal life or attitude and respect the fact that they are an outstanding athlete. Also, I'm not complaining that they close trails for races, I just find it funny that JohnnyP belittles people who want to enjoy their activities without outside interruptions while he insists on having his own private trails because that's his "playing field." It's hilariously hypocritical and a good example of why racers are disliked so much outside of the race world.
  21. I don't care if you call him a dick, but don't say he isn't a talented athlete or a skilled competetor. That's ridiculous. Also, this made me laugh;
  22. Too bad his posting isn't as good as his racing.
  23. I just put up two boards on ebay, go buy them ok New Atomic 158 Discharge Snowboard New 05/06 Salomon ARNIE 5000 154 Pro Model SIGNED
