I'm on that list, right?

She lives in Mammoth, I've seen her a ton. Here's a little fun fact: most of the people I know in Mammoth refer to her as "monkeyface." At least she's got a nice body... Is that a joke?
-
From what I've heard, it sounds like it's going to be invite-only. They're trying to keep the amount of riders pretty low so that the kids who are actually good don't have to wait for 20 gapers to do sketchy back boards.
-
I'll be there, provided my buddy lends me his snowboard.
-
How much do you want for them?
-
That sounds sick, can I just show up and ride?
-
Snowmaker: Hope you like standing in 20 degree weather on a pitch black slope trying to determine if you're making snow or really cold water. Mechanic: Hope you like being an asshole because 90% of the lift mechanics I've ever come across has been a huge dick.

I forgot about this. This happened to my DCs, too.

Well, considering it's the same topic, High Cascade has a "sign up before January 1st and get $100 off" deal, PLUS you'd get to shred and hang out with me all session!!!
-
Yeah, I heard something about that one, too. Can you give me more info on it?
-
Joe, any idea what the setup is going to look like?

Is Roundtop going to be skiiers only? If I don't get an invite I'll probably just try to poach practice and get an invite on the spot. Also, what other fall rail jams are going on?
-
Roundtop has a rail jam scheduled for October 23rd. I read papasteeze's entry about it in the calendar, and I'm going to be in the area around that time, so any info you have on this event would be greatly appreciated. Also, apparently the event is invite-only, does anyone know if this is going to be a Roundtop local only event, or are they planning on inviting most of the east coast rail shreds? Any idea on what it takes to be invited? I've shot an email off to try and get the email/phone number of the person running the event already.

This sounds pretty dubious. I work with Pat Malendoski (owner/operator of Planet Snowtools), so I'll try to find out anything about this next time I see him.

Question: why not more "normal" jibs? Sure, the ones you listed are fun for awhile, but if it were me, I'd rather have a mellow, normal setup than some circus rails. You'll be able to learn way more stock tricks on a mellow set-up, then take it to a real park and/or handrail. Plus, it'd be way easier to build. I'd suggest a 20 foot long, 2 foot wide, two foot tall (bigger if you actually have a base) flat (or slightly down) box, a handrail-style box (3 foot ollie onto it, 3 inches wide, 15 step down or so), and mabye a flat-down box.

Last season I had a pair of DCs (dunno what model) and they were alright, I guess. They're large boots, which can be a problem if you've got a shoe size above 10, and they wear out pretty quick. Also, don't buy boa lacing boots if you plan on riding more than 20 days a season. Right now I'm riding Burton Sabbaths (figured I'd ride Burton boots so they'd fit well with my binders) and they're pretty sick, definately going to pick them up again in a few weeks (plus, next year's boot design is pretty rad).

Sweet brah, I didn't hear you complain when all I posted in the Jeep thread was "those look pretty sweet, for a jeep." I guess it's ok when you like something, but if you don't explain every gripe with something you dislike you're immediately labeled a troll and subject to read a copy/paste from ebaumsworld. I thought most people on this forum were above silly, unoriginal attempts at being funny but apparently I was mislead. Mabye if I just started to tell people that they suck at the internet I'd fit in a little better. Or mabye I'll continue being honest when I like or dislike something. Nah, lemme just make some threads claiming my postcount and throw some smilies around

Oh hay thanks for filling half a page with stupid bullshit nobody wants to read. Instead of, oh, I don't know, ignoring a post you don't like, you opted to respond with a half-assed attempt at internet humour that derails the whole thread. I bet you send a lot of 'LOL FUNNY JOKE OF THE DAY!!!!/CHECK OUT THIS HILARIOUS PICTURE ROFLCLOLOMFG" emails, don't you? Spinning bindings are a stupid fad that's already passed, with some backwater companies still trying to cash in on people who are more interested in a fancy gimmick than a quality product. Skating isn't hard, and neither is riding a lift. If you honestly think these bindings are a good idea, feel free to waste $200 on them. I'll tell you "I told you so" when they break in two months due to horribly overcomplicated design, or when they just don't flat out work straight out of the box. Also, good luck finding replacement parts for when the lock strips out. I have enough problems with my bindings slipping 3/6/9 degrees after I air to flat, I can't imagine what would happen with these. Like I said, spend $200 on a gimmick or spend $260 on quality bindings. I've had my current pair of bindings for 200+ days right now, and I'd be suprised if those bindings make it to 20. Very rarely am I sarcastic on the internet, for the reasons you already stated. Nor do I try to portray a "cool" image over the internet. The CBMB was fun because I could get wanna-be park rat morons to actually believe I'm some gaper who's a diehard jets fan. I could have posted more about these bindings (see above), but honestly I didn't think it was worth my time :/

That is the dumbest shit I've seen in a long time.
-
According to the remaining Dave, there will be new rails. Don't get your hopes up, though.
-
Hahahaha that bus ride was ridiculous. I've still got 200 or so pairs of those things left, waiting for the right time to bust them out.

What's your name? I'm Terence, the sketchy maintenance guy who (most likely) went paintballing with you and most definately played dodgeball.
