  1. By the way I called BC today and each contest has a $15 registration fee, $40 if you do all three.
  2. My cousin and I are going to head out to Boulder tomorrow night (3/6), anyone else heading out?
  3. I was curious so I checked the website for more info, here it is for those of you who are out of the loop; Freestyle Festival Weekend Weekend Activities Friday, 03/07 Rail Competition with music by On The Mic DJ's Registration and practice from 3:30 to 5:30 comp begins at 6pm Saturday, 03/08 Slopestyle Competition with music by On The Mic DJ's Registration and practice from 9am to 12:30pm, comp begins at 1pm Sunday, 03/09 Big Air Competition with music by On The Mic DJ's Registration and practice from 9am to 12pm, comp begins at 12:30pm
  4. I know a few kids out there but I always thought rally was a fairly universal term.
  5. it's like the thread that keeps on giving
  6. Just checked the Sno website and it says that the Customer Appreciation tickets are scheduled for 3/12, 3/19 and 3/26. I thought it was going to be every Wednesday, did I just get some bunk info?
  7. asfdalksd bummer
  8. I'm sitting in Phoenix right now and fly into Philly at midnight and wanted to head out to Sno tomorrow for the customer appreciation $15 ticket, anyone else interested in rallying the NF or lapping the park?
  9. I'm on my last night of a 5 night Mammoth trip and so far I've spent $25 in food, lodging, and lift tickets and $40 in gas to drive up here. Luckily I've also made $400 while being here so it balances out.
  10. I ask because I've been told by the head of park staff at Bear (in CA) that it costs them somewhere around a million dollars to build and maintain an 18' pipe. Granted their season is usually runs a little longer into the spring than any NEPA resort, but the fact remains that pipes are a really good way to spend a ton of money. Personally I think that if a mountain can find room in the park budget for a 22' pipe then there is absolutely no reason that they can't spend even a fraction of that on rails and jumps, features that have been proven time and time again as being more popular than a halfpipe. Don't get me wrong; I'd love to have a 22' pipe that is cut three times a week and kept in good condition but the reality is that doing so is extremely hard in a NEPA environment and would cost huge amounts of money.
  11. Which would you rather have; 30 new well-built rails and boxes that are kept in pristine condition every single day or a 22' pipe?

    Binding Help

I'd say either go with the T9s or the Rome bindings. I know that T9 offers a lifetime warranty so if any part breaks on it you call them up and they will send you a new one completely free of charge. For what it's worth I've been riding T9s for the last two seasons and I like them a lot, the Military looks pretty similar to the 390 so I'd say either move is a good one on your part.
  13. I always figured that if I ever bought an altimeter watch I'd just end up setting it then throwing it in an unused pocket on my jacket.
  14. It's up again $61.88 66% Off, Regularly $179.95
  15. The difference is that some people around here actually value my opinion and that I've made a bunch of posts in the past that directly address the type of investments that Sno is making.
  16. The other thread got locked so I'll just say this here; Sno buying a 22' pipe cutter is a little silly.
  17. I'd say a fair price would be $175 + shipping since I assume the original offer of $175 implied that the buyer was going to pick it up.
  18. Nose and tail are soft enough to press, torsional flex is medium, as far as I'm concerned it's the perfect park board.
  19. I'm riding a 55 graft right now and it's a solid board. Stiff enough to jump but soft enough for rails, you hit the nail on the head when calling it a mix between the Artifact and Agent.
  20. Get it sent to General Delivery at the local post office.
  21. Awesome, looks like I'll finally be able to find out what the North Face + WL are all about.
  22. Does this apply to passes from resorts outside of NEPA?
  23. I'm sure I'll make the annual trip to Blue, the day I spent there last year were pretty fun and I'm hoping to find more of the same. Do they still have the down flat down rail?
  24. B-b-b-b-but I don't ski?!?!?!?!
