While you guys were sissyfighting in this thread earlier and burton71 was telling everyone to stop sucking on my balls I made a really big batch of spaghetti sauce with fake meat and really went overboard, now I have a ton of sauce left in my bowl but I don't have an oven so I didn't make garlic bread or anything to sop it up with GOD I'M SO STUPID

A. Higher Revolutions Per Minute(RPMs) for Fitness and Less Chance of Injury Training for fitness can be achieved with increasing the RPMs that you push the pedals with during training sessions. Many cyclists push much too hard a gear so that they can achieve fitness in the shortest time possible, but this approach adds risk and chance of injury when you can be working toward a higher level of fitness. Higher rates of spinning the pedals will allow you muscles to develop strength over time and reduce the burden to your muscles of being over-worked over a short period of time. Stay fit and injury free with the method I am describing here. A rate of about 85-95 RPMs is considered high enough for the average cyclist attempting for maintaining a high level of fitness and gaining endurance. Don't forget to stretch well, especially when you begin, this will also help reduce risk of injury and help you stay fit.

You know what's a really good song? Sonic Youth's cover of Superstar.

I see what you did here.

Oh, I don't know, probably the one with more style. Guys I think I've had an epiphany in this thread; if you are not doing the most technically difficult trick at every given opportunity you just aren't snowboarding right and chances are you look like shit while doing it.
-
Please explain comprehension to me because I would like to know just exactly what it is in your personal definition that differers from the rest of the world. You are implying that certain tricks inherently have more style than others, my argument is that it has next to nothing to do with trick selection and relies heavily on rider ability. You prefer front rodeos to backflips, I understand that. Do you also think that everyone it the world should have the same favorite color as you?

http://youtube.com/watch?v=-uNppTjQdho Pretty decent back rodeo 7 at 1:30 Fairly crazy backflip at 3:07 followed up by a no grab crippler followed up by some butter rodeo stuff Really good back rodeo 7 at 3:57

For the record I watched those backflip clips that were posted and I can't really say that I agree with any of them being anywhere near a top 3 backies of all time list :/
-
What's so stylish about a backside 180? What about Marc Frank doing no-grab cliff drops? What makes a backside nosepress stylish? Style is about 10% trick selection and 90% rider ability. I could watch Andreas do back rodeo sevens all day, but take your average snowboarder and tell him to do a back rodeo seven and I'd bet dollars to doughnuts that it would look average at best. Same with a backflip; yeah, your average rider at Bear Creek might be able to huck a backie and land it but it probably looks like shit, meanwhile guys like Ben Lynch or Travis Parker can float a completely laid out backflip over a sixty foot park jump and make it look better than any other trick done that day. For you to say that every single backflip in the history of snowboarding looks like garbage is both indicative of your attitude towards snowboarding and your own personal style. Personally I think front rodeos should have been left in 1998 but I'm not going to say that every single one is ugly and that (insert trick here) is better because that would be completely ignoring personal style, something that is of an utmost importance to me. When I was talking about putting effort into this thread I was considering getting all my snowboarding videos together and putting together a compilation of the best backflips but I've since realized that such effort would be completely wasted on somebody who selects their tricks based on how well they would do in a contest.

I'm just trying to figure out if I should put effort into this thread or just ignore it.
-
Oh man, this thread got even better. If you honestly believe that a frontside rodeo is better looking than a straight up layed out backflip then I really don't know what to say to you. Also, for the record, that youtube link of a "front rodeo" isn't really a front rodeo at all, he's just spinning off his toes and leaning into the spin. He's never really upside down at any point during that trick.

Pop off the lip, look back with your head and keep looking back. As long ask you keep trying to look back your body should follow.

What a queer, leading, self-serving thing to ask.

When you read that Bode DNFed do you ever get a slight tickle in your stomach while thinking 'oh man I can't WAIT to post this on PASR!' Just curious.
