Rude???? Compared to who? That's nothing compared to how Craig , Ashleigh and others were treated by some of our distinguished contributors. Lighten up. I'm sure it was said in jest. Mea culpa. Didn't see last post by Ski 911.

Maybe with the hotel, they'll push for a longer season. Not too many rooms booked during the mud season but an extended ski season could keep people making reservations into late March and early April. Just a thought.

Beech and Sugar closed this weekend. So much for the "Banana Belt" ski season here in Dixie. Warm rain yesterday and today did them in.

People better get up there and start buying tickets if they want that to happen.

There were rumors circulating earlier that CB was thinking about keeping the east side open while setting up the water park. If that happens besides being great for you guys, some are going to have to eat some crow. Hope so for your sakes. PAX

My big regret, I'm not there to enjoy it. Almost all my time at up north this year was during January with the warm weather and limited terrain. Did make it back up in Feb for a week when everything was open. Glad the Ranger encounter was cool, contrary to what most people say, some ARE good guys. Enjoy the end of the season everyone! I'm getting ready to troll for gators on water skis. PAX

Sounds like you guys are ahead of the usual game plan this season. CB usually goes into the 8 til 5 skiing mode in early March. Maybe they will push it until the end of March or beyond this year. PAX

Must be the color of the day 'cause there aren't that many of them on Fridays. Watching the webcam, looks like an extremely light day skier wise for a St Paddy's day weekend Friday. Looks like the springtime indifferance has struck.

Boy, sorry I asked.

Was CB open last night? Was working at the desk last night about 800PM and turned on the webcam just for the sake of having something enjoyable on the screen. The camera was pointed at the Sullivan and there wasn't a soul in sight. Didn't see one skier or boarder during the 20 minutes it was on. Strange that it appeared no one was there.

All the grounds crews are in training here in FLA with the Grapefruit league.

Happy belated B'day Dave. Sounds like the only thing that could have made it a better day would have been a picnic lunch of some fine wine, cheese and bread under the pines, slopeside, with your favorite girl. PAX
