Can't make the 21st one, g moms 80th bday party. If we do it in early march, I could possibly host people at my pocono house and make it a PASR weekend. About 35 mins from Sno mountain so people coming from the Philly area could stay there.

Awesome. When I was out at IUP the one place I wanted to get to but never had a chance to was Holiday Valley. Always looked like a fun time. F'n baseball always took up my time.

www.liftopia.com sometimes has some good deals on day passes for out there.

2 years ago i was there about 10-15 times. Don't expect any park. If ur a park skier, go to 7 springs. Slow ass lifts. You will be sitting, a lot. Great long groomers. They get a lot of snow. When everything is open and decent snowfall, best terrain in PA. The bowl is pretty sweet. Great tree skiing. I wouldn't hit the glades on the lower half of the mountain unless they get a TON of snow. When I was there they had a lot of snow but still huge rocks showing everywhere. And the best part, it is never ever crowded.

JFBB Pre-PASR Day January 17th Jack Frost

possibility of me being there. -
I have never really skied a huge powder day but I can say that even if you stick to groomers CO would still be a lot of fun. You can still find long groomers out there if you don't enjoy the powder.

Hunter Trip 1/14-15. Never been. Advice? Hotel? Conditions/Jumps?
n0xidee replied to TT C6's topic in Other Mountains
I have only been there once and it was early season last year so don't know too much. You should be fine with crowds because its not a holiday and its mid week. Weekends there I hear are almost unbearable. They had some nice bump runs and I really liked the back side of the mountain. I dunno if it is back side but its like far right if your looking up the mountain and kinda on the side, not facing the lodge. Can't describe terrain park cause it was not open. I know this wasn't that helpful but GSS or Atomic I think have been there a number of times and can help you more. I also stayed at a friends boss's house so I can't help with lodging. -
If you do all of toll road the lift ride coming back up sucks. Sloooooow double. But you can almost ski straight down through the woods the whole time if you want.

Want some warm shiz? www.carhartt.com Only stuff I wear for work since I work outside all day long. I may even wear it skiing....

I could be wrong but I think he was merely stating how if you have a good pair of pants with a liner in them, you won't need to "dress like an astronaut".

The scenery from Denver to the mountains was one of my favorite parts when I was out there. Good luck with everything.

Cause people act the exact same way in person. I know when to keep it shut and when to let it all out. And right now, you needed to hear it. So your saying if you got into a brawl, your friends wouldn't back you up? You have some pretty shitty friends. I never once said I would sit back. I would be right in the middle with them.

I think you are finally getting it!

Junior? Cause your soooooo much older then me. Don't worry, I have had my ass kicked. I have a high pain tolerance. I also have a group of friends who are happy to jump right in. And I can guarantee that some of them are much bigger then anyone on here. And you did address my ignorant closing. I'm so sorry that the truth hurts.... Sorry mommy and daddy never told you about that growing up.

We have tried. Many times. Many people have. But yet you continue to post your carpooling and seasonal rental threads. If you would have just created one thread at the beginning of the year and bumped it maybe a few times, you would have been fine. But no one likes it when they check "new posts" and they see just another one of TT C6's Who wants to carpool...... threads.

I skied by myself once in the last two years. When I was at Breckenridge in CO last year. I like being able to go and come home whenever I want. I'll pay the extra money to have that freedom. Also so I can get first chair and be able to ski as fast/slow as I want. You act and talk like you are always right. Well many people have many different opinions. That is one reason why many people don't like you. Reason number two is because all you ever talk about is carpooling and seasonal rentals. SHUT THE F*CK UP! If by now no one has wanted to, then no one will. Stick to your philly snowboarding group, or continue to ask yourself everyday why everyone flames on you. And I just gave you the answer so you won't have to hurt your head thinking about it for to long.

I dont live near a mountain. I'm not rich, in fact now that I am in the real world I am a broke a$$ mother f*cker which is why I have been out once this year. And if you have a good car it should be able to take mileage. I have 50k+ on my 2 year old GTI.

Wait, what kind of cars do you own? Don't say you don't have money.

USASA Boardercross Competition at Bear Creek January 31, 2009
n0xidee replied to TT C6's topic in Bear Creek
Its not like this forum is that huge. You hit view new posts, then if you don't like the topic, you don't read it. But then you don't have to go checking all those forums. -
Yeah I would say if you are definitely skiing those three places, hit steamboat first and work your way back. First off because of the altitude and flight ish. Its better to have a little rest and get acclimated. Secondly when your done skiing and beat from skiing three days of big mountains, your not going to want to have the long drive back to the airport.

Sick pics and the action shots are sweet. Glad you had a good time.
