dieter at alpina/ 940 boards is who i go to. he has a good selection of boots and is 2 miles down the road from jack frost on route 940.

the last time we were at stowe we froze our butts off.....and they don't have those blankets anymore

thanks again, saurus. at least with this set-up the six-session pass option is available (we are thinking of doing that instead of a season pass). btw, how does that work...do we get 6 vouchers to redeem at the ticket window, or are we given a card (similar to the season pass)?

can't comment on the loft, but i had a bad experience with buckmans...so i won't reccomend them to anyone for boot fitting. alpina and wick's both carry lange.

i dunno, that value pass might work well for me since i usually only ski @ BC mid-week evenings....

thanks for checking in about this. kinda sux there's no group discount anymore, but that value pass does look like a good deal for us b/c we usually ski there mon-thurs anyhow.

she got zipfit liners. the boot guy @ windham is the closest dealer to us.

tinymoose and i were up at windham mtn last weekend. she had an apptmt to get replacement bootliners and it happened to be windham's oktoberfest that saturday! def some good homemade german food to be had, with a couple of brews to boot. the leaves have def begun to change up there, mostly the maples though. we took a ride up the lift to the summit, and walked back to the base area. we took a wrong turn on one of the access roads and were headed back up hill for a bit, oh well. got to see a couple of deer hanging out near midmountain. we finally made it back down and then took another ride up, but decided to ride the lift back down the second time. lots of people dressed up in traditional bavarian clothes....especially the beer wenches . GSS would approve, lol.

scored a pair of 2012/13 blizzard bushwackers at a sweet price. the came in on friday, so i was able to take 'em up to alpina on sunday to get bindings put on.

those are all a lot better options that around here ....

hmm..... plans are still up in the air. gore, stowe, sunday river, mrg, sugarbush, hunter are all in the mix right now. locally, we're debating if we are going to renew our bc season pass or not (replace with a six pack of lift tix) b/c last season we skiied a lot elsewhere.

that was bank! def took advantage of that last season.....hoping to do the same if they offer it again.

ditto: specifically the long haul lift....is that gonna get done this season?
