  4. ditto. i have no beef w/ gss at all. you just need to take his posts with a grain of salt.
  5. well yeah, it's def quite a bit longer.....i dunno, i just never feel like it's all that steep when i'm on WL .
  6. we were at alpina getting some work done and they had all of their rentals out on saturday....i can only imagine how crowded jfbb got.
  7. i suppose....i don't think it's really all that steep. the elevator at jf is way steeper, IMHO. anyhow, we were up there yesterday. white lightning was super icy and not fun: one time down was enough for me.

ice, ice, ice......not much else to say. we took a few runs down the bumps on grizzly, extreme had enough slough on the sides to make it OK, sasquatch was pretty ugly everywhere. the a-lift was the "lift of love".....GSS should have made an appearnce b/c they had more ladies than dudes show up.

    TR BC 2/10

we checked in for the afternoon shift on sunday and wow was it crowded! we were able to get a parking spot in the lower lot, but def way in the back...so it was a bit of a hike to get to the lodge. at least we didn't have to wait for the shuttle to pick us up. we met up with some of tinymoose's pals from skidiva.com and we all had a fun time skiing together. good coverage overall, but the boiler plate was showing thru in the high traffic areas. timberline was generally in the best shape, but there were some good turns to be had on skier's right of sasquatch. grizzly had some rather large moguls on it: one run down was sufficient for me. lots of gapers stuck sitting in the troughs down the middle of the trail, bummer. we finished the nite off by grabbing a bite to eat: chx fingers, fries, and lager for me. that really hit the spot. too bad the rain and high temps are washing away all the new snow from the weekend....i hate to see how bc will be later on this week.
  19. good idea in concept, but hard to implement.
  20. that's why its a good idea to ski in the woods if you can
  21. ditto....
  22. ya, I gotta echo NMSKI...every PASR I've met & skied with in person is welcoming & friendly....even GSS, inspite of his online reputation
  23. we have a light dusting in phxville...
  24. rain was starting to come down with little ice balls in them while i went out for lunch....
  25. i dunno, i bet elk and montage/sno will get hit pretty good as well....looked like that heavy band wraps around to the west of the catskills....could make it down that far....we'll see.
