how bout you share your "knowledge" instead?

haha very true. Im sure bear could get a pretty penny for the trees. I know ALOT of people are starting to install those big arse outdoor heaters that can burn upto a 5ft long log....
-
haha yeah dont get me started on that one
-
I know they were having problems w/ the treehuggers so the move of tubing 90* isnt happening this season, and as far as I know they are still intent on building onto the hotel. Thats about all I know...maybe someone from bear can chime in..

Yeah, she followed my dad home from work one day,so we kept her and put up signs for anyone looking for a missing dog, then some redneck drove by and saw her and was like "You've got my dog" and picked her up. 2 weeks later we got a call from a friend like 5 miles away and was like "your dog is here" sp we did all the nessicary(sp) steps needed to adopted her and shes been with us ever since. She does like to try and run away...but only when it snows lol...other wise shes sleeping..haha

Park Passes are most likely a good Idea. BUt I do think that they need to incorporate a way of patrolling the park and making sure only people w/ the passes are in the park. I think ski patrol/the rangers should be more awakre and shoudlnt be such dicks and fly through the park cutting people off(happend to me the friday before closing weekend). Just a little suggestion. ..adam.. And no..Im not trying to piss anyone off or anything

Yeah, like the first 2 times I was there after they set it up it was nice, then after that it went to hell in a hand basket on the express train. the jumps got pretty bad and there was a decent sized bare spot that never got fixed near the end. Oh well...
-
sib, your picture updates are always amazing and never fail to make me jealous. I would love to go ride out west sometime in the near future. Also, awesome house and awesome huskies! We've got a red huskey...she was a stray

Pretty good idea. The drainage would help alot with the slush buildup in areas and wouldnt take all that much to pull off. Plus,I see people talk about getting papasteeze to do backhoe work....why not get him to do it if hes got the equipment? pay him w/ some passes and such? Def bring back a small "starters" park again,I thought it was a good idea for those trying to get into riding park and not having to make them hit the bigger stuff w/out being intimidated.

Well, anybody have an update for us as to how the mudding comp went today?
-
haha..looks like the dog is showing how he feels about the snow
-
Seriously...wtf Prolly be more fun and entertaining doing it on a mtn bike...
-
doug...that rap is well....sweet! Made me laugh my azz off. And yeah, everyone was right..that announcer @ blue was a freakin tard. "I hope you fall in" Looks like dougs career is off to a good start
-
build a lil karoke area for doug and his rap club, and have the lift closest to the park runnin so everyone doesnt have to drag themselves over to the quad every run. Possibly make a shorter park or something. def replace both lodges.....and upgrade the ski patrol trailer @ the top to a double wide....
-
HOly crap... So yeah..I just checked out the interactive mtn cam on bears website. WTF are they thinking? do they really think that people are gonna enjoy themselves boarding in the mud? Looks like a joke to me. Maybe I saw the wrong thing....is there some hidden snow they plan on pulled outta their arse 10 minns before the comp? All I saw was mud, grass and a lame looking jump. Sorry to rain on everyones party but It looks like its a waste of time/man hours/money/pointless to drive down there and have to pay to ride in the mud, rocks, grass, and slush. But hey..for all of you that go...post up and let us know how it went. Feel free to post pics and video's too. ..adam... Guess they shoulda taken advantage of the cold temps they had the week of closing and blew snow...

http://www.weather.com/outlook/health/alle...rom=search_city Break out the ponchos boys and girls. Looks like the salt wont be much help...
-
From what I gather its just gonna be open for the comp. Im thinking they made a bis ass jump to the right of the quad and thats all thats gonna be open. I dont think they are even gonna have any lifts open for this event. Maybe dorsal fin or park crew and share more?
-
As long as you stay on the slopes and dont ski down to where the snowcats are parked alond the pond you'll be fine. ..adam..

I was there Yesterday from 10 till 4 and the conditions were shockingly good. I was thinking they would suck but they seemed to pull some snow outta their hiding spots or something cause there was nice coverage until around 1 then there were few bare spots in the park. I didnt go anywhere then the park, but everything else seemed fine,I didnt hear many complaints. I was told by a friend this morn that It sorta iced up once the sun went down. I might go up tonight, depends on whats going on... ..adam..
-
That sucks. Good luck tomorrow.
-
Try and get up there if you can. I just got back. Was up there from like 10:30 and the conditions were actually pretty night, hella nicer than monday. Sadly I think its the last time I'll get there this season ..adam..
