I just want to say that Will is doing such an awesome job this year so far with CB. Sean, Nipples, Jesse and I were up there this past Friday and I was completely blown away with what was set up. I've skied Camelback plenty of times before and this is the first time I can honestly say I've had fun there. For all of you park riders with a bad taste in your mouth from Camelback in the past, give em another try and with the way Will is working I find it hard to believe that you'll be disappointed. I skied the best Camelback park I ever have on Friday and it was the first week in December. Every feature was set up really well. Big ups to will for hookin shit up at CB in the parks. Kid works hard. Any idea on when that edit's gonna be up Will?

probably in the morning, maybe like 9ish or so. We're leavin for VT from there, so we'll probably bounce around 230-3ish thanks dude! sounds fun!

i think nipples, sean and i are heading up there on friday. anyone know the setup?
-
you gonna be heading there fri matt? i'm hoping it's just a sesh, i feel like people would get more hits in and have more fun with that format at this point in the season.

Big Boulder Opens Friday!

if what missdem. said is going to be the setup i'm pretty stoked. I don't think that limits riders at all, but in fact gives you lots of options. and the widest box they have i think is the 420 box, and that thing is tooooo damn wide, and probably a bitch to move as well. just my 2 centos. i'm excited for friday. oh and tom/andy, maybe you can comment on this...but i work til 6 on friday and i'll head over right from there, but what is registration going to be like? maybe it's listed in the details for the event, and i'll look, but is there a certain time i need to register by? and if i can't make it by said time, can i call and have you register me? haha

liners are expensive, and you could most likely get a new boot for a little more than just the liners/footbeds. Intuition's arent any good unless you have someone mold them, and mold them right. tough call, but it might be easier just to pick up a new set of boots, or like toast and dan said, dial em in w/ some aftermarket fitting tools that your local shop could most likely help you out with.

I think i'm gonna be able to make this one too as of now! As justin said, the new box is so killer. and as always the a frame is perfect. best backyard setup you will ever ride and it's so close to pretty much everyone posting here. definitely check this out.

I'd stick to skis like these as opposed to the prophets. The prophets are definitely more of an all mt ski. Like trevor said, they've got metal in em and metal has the potential to bend if you land wrong. Also like tre said, they're a little wide. There's much better skis for you than those. Chronics would be real sick, and now that salomon made an all wood core park ski, the suspects too. As far as other options go there's a huge list of good skis. Rossi Scratch FS/Squindo, K2 Silencer, Dynastar Troublemaker...goes on and on.

rail jam at bear nov 24th? shed some light.
-
so if that mike/matts rail jam is on the 8th...does that mean boulder won't try and open that day since it would draw away a lot of entries to the rail jam? I was hoping that'd be the day boulder opens.
-
what just happened?... i think i'd like 30 seconds of my life back after reading that. anyway, thing's are gettin colder for sure. Hopefully Boulder gets open one of these upcoming weeks.

I'd say if you're all squity going down the hill, you need glasses. unless of course you meant that you need darker lenses. In which case, an orange/persimmon tint is usually fine for around here as an all-around lens. We have night skiing and often times, flat light. You don't always need a very dark mirrored lens.

i think i'm going to start drinking now. kbye!

hahaha you quit trippin off backcountry features.

ding ding ding. If that's supposed to be their biggest/best jumpline/park i'd rather see them put more time/snow into one single take-off as opposed to two of different sizes sharing the same landing. Keep the medium and small stuff in the other park and leave lots of room for bigger, wider jumps in tubing.
