  1. you are in fact a mans man zaldon. edit: i just wanted to clarify that despite being drunk at the moment i was in no way, shape, or form hitting on you with the above statement.
  2. I was just looking at the boots on the Head website. There is a high point on the liner cuff that looks like it would sit right about where you are getting the pain. I'd guess that is the culprit. You're stance is more then likely increasing it's damaging effects (mostly your forward lean angle). Sounds to me like the bruising is occurring when you are slightly straightening your back leg during turns. I'd recommend working that piece of liner with your hands. Break it down a little, soften it up. You'll basically accelerate the break in cycle on that part of the boot. If that still doesn't do it, try what Glenn and I are suggesting with finding the good lacing combo. If you are still getting the pain you have three options. 1) Start playing with your stance/lean angle. 2) Get new boots. 3) Suck it up and bare it.
  3. I'll see what I can do on my Moab/Telluride trip. Meeting a bunch of KUOC kids out there. They will have been in Utah for 3 days already when I get there, and my truck will be stocked with 6+% libations. So it could get sloppy, and by sloppy I mean interesting, and of course by interesting I mean... Shit lost my point. Anyway it should be good, so long as nobody pukes on me this time. Edit: It also annoys me that it is almost March, and I have not gotten to make fun of Lindsy in person. I think this might be the third time now that I made fun of her via the interwebs. Lame.
  4. and boobs. we need more boobs. lindsy doesn't count.
  5. an y issues with the mountain popo while there? i here there are a lot of eastern popo there and they are serious dicks when it comes to doing their job. also, is chimney rock that thing on the right that looks like a throbbing member?
  6. I used to get that pain on occasion when I first got my boots but on my front foot. Came to figure out it was a matter of finding the right balance between having the liner/boot too tight or loose. Had to try a few variations to find the happy medium. Also, now that the boots are broken in the range at which the "happy medium" sits is a lot larger now that the boot is softer. So my advice would be to just play around as the days go by and find what works.
  7. Might also be able to part it out for another 5hundo or so. Combined with what you have already it could be a nice little pile of money to use towards something used and maybe a little nicer then what you had. There is certainly demand around her for parts. BTW Justin: I paid for a month of Carfax reports when I was truck shopping. So if you shoot me Vin#s I can check them out for you. I think I've got like 2 weeks or so left on the subscription. Just a nice little way to eliminate the real lemons while looking around online. Certainly isn't fail safe, but at least you can narrow down the one's you want to test drive to cars you know are halfway decent.
  8. you can EASILY find a decent older suby for that in the denver metro area. so many of them floating about. no need to fly home and drive it all the way out here. (sorry justo, it just doesn't make sense, haha). i've even scene four cylinder high mileage tacos for that price. you're better off buying something out here anyway, a lot less worry with rust and what not.
  9. this dude just keeps getting cooler and cooler in my book.
  10. I can't imagine they'd make a shitty board for women. Their mens stuff is great, and it seems like that would carry over. No personal experience though.
  11. Don't hate on skateaway... i think i made out for the first time there.
  12. I'm not sure the EXACT details, but I got a call at about 1:30AM from shadows asking if I had a desktop that they could toss their hard drive in. So I'd guess it was more then just editing issues, it was more along the lines of computer issues.
  13. Hey man, sorry i couldn't help ya out the other night with the computer issues. Sucks that the editing bit ya in the ass, looks like you had a ton of great footage. Certainly a nice lil vid though considering.
  14. far right with the walking stick... all me
  15. i don't even know what to say, but i felt like i needed to see my avatar somewhere in this cluster fuck.
  16. schif may be onto something, just be careful not to burn yourself on the hot wax that will start building up onto the scrapper.
  17. stance looks ok to me i guess... looks like you mom shrunk your pants in the dryer though.
  18. Yea that has been known to happen. A lot of people out here get yakima's with the round bars. That way they can fold the carriers back and get a little better mileage when not using them. It looks funny if you ask me, but must do the trick since I see tons of people do it. On the other hand, my buddies 85 Saab actually started getting BETTER mileage with the rack and fairing. Go figure.
  19. No drilling required, but don't strap a piece of plywood to it. You'll not only loose the roof rack, but the plywood as well, haha.
  20. Right on, it was just killing me cause i had one in my hands today at a store while killing time. Congrats to whomever scooped it up.
  21. viva le taco!
  22. lay down a think glob of epoxy, drop the bindings on it, ride it gangsta
  23. Yea, as the weekend is fast approaching it is looking more and more like I may not even get out this weekend. Seems like I'll be picking the truck up some time this weekend, and I think it my screw up my plans. We'll see though.
