you're killing me man. if i wasn't about to buy a truck i'd be on that so fast.

I saw the the other day. I guess they are going to do mtn bike on chain love and road bike on bonktown. Still trying to figure out the name. I think a bunch of them just got stoned and thought it sounded cool.

How does that work? Does the receipt have the ticket?

Doesn't look like I'll be able to meet up with you. Maybe steamboat on Sunday. Not 100% sure yet. I'd take a sick day, but I'm already taking one tomorrow to go look at and hopefully buy a truck. So I can't really take another and still hit my deadlines. Maybe steamboat sunday though... will need to check my finances post truck buying, haha. Safe travels!

please just ban them both. bringing shame to a great movie character.

Oh yea, the weather was great, but snow wasn't excellent. I'd guess the park would be though.

Same thing at Breck yesterday and today. Speaking of Breck. Probably the least impressive place I've been to so far out here. Take that with as many grains of salt you'd like since conditions weren't in line to be epic. I did however, completely enjoy the ski in ski out condo I got to stay at for free. In addition to once again failing to get into Cecilia's, but getting properly shit tanked anyway. So next week philly? Which day do you plan to hit WP? I may be there both days, but that has yet to be 100% determined.

1 stick at the moment. Burton Custom 156, back about an inch +15 up front and -10 on the back I think. I could be off a bit with those numbers as I've been tweaking it a lot this season, and keep forgetting. I wanted to pick up a new board this season so my Custom could become more of a jib/beater board, but avy classes and gear took priority. My hope is to drop the load on a NS split next season though, but I'll prolly wuss out on the money commitment and just pick up a regular NS Heritage or Premier. Love my Custom, but I'm realizing I need a little more float out here to do what I really want to do. Edit: Oh, and I usually get a professional tune at the beginning of the season, and then just sorta let the thing go to shit as the year goes on. I am however going to be schooled tonight by a friend on how to do it myself since I need to PTex a nice core shot. Figured may as well hot wax it while we've got everything out.

Hell yea, I actually contemplated putting another order in, but I'm sure my money would be much better used elsewhere. Especially since now I have enough shoes for the next like 5 years, haha. Edit: Also wanted to say that I am really impressed with Gravis. I've never owned anything from them before as I haven't been in too many stores that had them. I'm a big fan of trying stuff on first, but this deal was too good to worry about that. All 4 pairs feel true to fit, seem to be high quality, and are REALLY comfortable. I was impressed by how comfortable they all were considering I got a pair or "skater" styled, "athletic" styled, and 2 leather "dressier" pairs. Each are equally comfortable, and look awesome. I'll def buy more in the future, even if they are more then 10bucks, haha.

Just wanted to report back that the shoe deal was legit. Just got done lacing up 4 new pairs of shoes. Freaking sweet.

Never been a fan of Nike, but that was a pretty cool video. Props to the designers/illustrators/film makers.

I dunno man, aside from destroying my base I had a blast up there and didn't even lay eyes on the park. We found some awesome untouched powder in the trees without hiking at all. I'd go back there any day.

And just a heads up, Safeway and most of the major stores are sort of few and far between in the high country. So you'd need to stop in or around Denver on your way if you do go that route. Edit: I also just heard a rumor the other day that if you buy 10vitamin waters at a King Supers you can get a free lift ticket to Winter Park. I have ABSOLUTELY no idea how this all works or if it is even true. It may be worth a shot though. The worst that can happen is you drop like 15bones on drinks for the time you're here.
-
Not completely sure what the prices are, but I'd guess it is either the same deal or worse. I'd do the online deal just so you don't have to waste your time stopping at a store.

No doubt, I got my Tastykake fix sine I tossed a few boxes in my luggage on the way back. Forgot dem splits though.
-
holler, i've got a free condo connect this weekend in breck. horay hung over tree runs!
-
Not sure either of those two options are of much benefit to anyone.

You spelled mother fuckers wrong. I can tell now that you are not at all intelligent.

Def hit up Keystone, place is a ton of fun.

One can only hope I suppose.

I lived in a hostel for about half a week here in Boulder when I first got here. It really is not bad sharing. A lot of times it is like a room set up for like 4-6, and you may only get 1-2 others in there. I also stayed in one in LA, and I've never been in a room that was at capacity. Save yourself the money and frustration of lockers and just keep everything locked in the rental car. Do your best to make it so that you can't easily see gear in the back, etc etc. Long and short of it, if you're really concerned bout saving some green go for the hostel. I'd prolly just bring a good zero degree bag and sleep in my car. No cheaper then that. 99% sure Safeway offers discounted tickets for breck.

Negative, I'd have gotten a PM by now if it was.
