in the end loveland will be open soon enough, which is awesome because i've got 9 tickets sitting on my desk at home to burn through. -

i heard copper beat them on firing up the snow guns too. -
boned grabs are for n00bs, bend them knees to the max.
-
method grab. only trick you need to learn... ever. the more you bend your knees, and the higher you push your free hand up into the air the better. if you can do them really fast from flat ground you get bonus points.

mmmm, frosty clitoris

tubes don't have doors... valves maybe?

not making a new thread since nobody ever contributes anything worth two shits. none the less i think this qualifies as light at the end of the tunnel: http://vimeo.com/backcountryski/solitairetrailer

Best Case Scenario: - I get to laugh my ass off watching you struggle at altitude skinning in. Worst Case Scenario: - You piss me off and I push you into a slide. Hmm... maybe I have those backwards.

had you had even a thread of foresight maybe you'd have been thinking about retirement in your 20s, and you'd be able to avoid the "never."
-
hey man, live your life how you want. if your happy your happy. just letting you know there is more than 1way to do it. i'm on pace to retire in 30yrs too, i just believe in the live where you play philosophy. doesn't mean you have to.

i read his post that living in the roaring fork valley is his dream, and he's laying low in pa to save up and make that a reality. seems like dropping wads to ski a shit ton in aspen is a good way to delay said dream, but i'm sure he'll have some asinine argument for why i'm wrong.
-
kinda what i meant by "living and working year round", but thanks for the clarification.
-
clearly you're not a golfer
-
paying assloads of money to fly in and ski in aspen while living in the lehigh valley < living and working in colorado year round. if you don't agree than you're an idiot, not sayin, just sayin. edit: not to mention he'll prolly spend more on one trip out than i do for my entire ski season. spend it if you've got it i guess, but it seems ridiculous. edit2: why the fuck do i still even post here.

if you (or anyone else for that matter) is in fact interested, don't drag your feet. we conducted about 8 interviews today for various positions. these jobs won't be around long, especially with boulder/denver being a hot bed for tech candidates.

my company is hiring web designers, web developers, sys admins, and qa/testers. the project i'm working on is really exciting, streaming, place shifting, media, so on and so forth. not sure how much i can really talk about publicly, so if you are remotely interested get in touch privately. great salary, great bennies, and i can mountain bike out the back of the office.

i think there are quite a few of us EAGERLY awaiting this thread.
-
seems to be the case... hey man, just went to reply to the pm we had going and it says you deleted it. anyway, sorry about the slow reply. i am trying to sync up with my room mate to make sure he's cool with a house guest. he's an emt and works crazy hours. so i just want to make sure he's cool with it, but it sounds like you may be employed and good now? anyway, if you need cheap lodging in boulder check out the hostel over by cu. i spend like 3 nights there when i first got to colorado. it isn't a bad place at all, and was dirt cheap. it's also basically on campus, so there is plenty of fun to be had if you are looking to have it.

tits or gtfo
-
sounds like we were on the same page all along. you just said colorado as a blanket statement, and summit county is not exactly a great way to describe the entire state.
-
park or not, the place is just overcrowded, THAT is why i don't like it. there is plenty of terrain there i could have a blast with, but it just get's nuts because the pass is so cheap.
-
you crazy? abay has the most out of control end of season gaper day activities of anyone, and has for years. summit county is just getting more crowded because all the bros from denver eat that pass up faster then they can put a lift kit on their f150. co isn't whack, summit county is whack.

you'll be here over closing weekend at wp... i'll be there. i have a few more days this season, but i'm weening off the snow and onto the bike and rock... also saving for my raft. so trips to the high country are hurting that savings.
