Not even a single reaction? Really? You guys are letting me down.

diggin the 80s oakley logo. i'd think about it, but i have no idea what size my noggin is. all i know is it is big.
-
Cotton? Yea prolly not the best idea. Cotton robs you of heat. Especially once it gets wet. Yea it does suck, but I always keep going. Just pick it out and go in for more, haha.

damn son, you're unloading your quiver. can't wait for my custom to arrive!

i mean this is the nicest way, and i'm not trying to be a dick... but it probably would be cheaper to adjust your diet and go for a couple of runs. if ya eat less you'll save money on food, and be able to rock the same board. save money from 2 fronts man.

Well I'm about to buy that used Burton Custom from A-B, and I'm going to need to toss some bindings on it. I used to keep track of all the latest in gear and so on, but the last year or so I've been to busy to keep up to date on everything (mainly because I've gotten much more into climbing, and waste too much time reading about the endless gamut of climbing gear). So I'm looking for some recommendations. My goal here is to demote my Dominant to just the park, and use the Custom for trees/all mountain/etc. I currently have Customs on my Dom, and like them a lot. So I may just end up picking up another pair. However, I wanted to see if anyone had any advice though before I went out and did that. My biggest pet peeve with bindings is simplicity. I don't want some flashy crazy ass binding with all sort of bells and whistles. The way i look at it, the less screws in the construction the better. That way there are less things to worry about coming loose. I've got a size 10 boot, prefer toe cup straps, and looking for something bombproof and light. Fire away. BTW: I'm willing to buy slightly used as well. So if you have anything sitting around that fits the above criteria feel free to let me know.

holla! bolder drunk stoke! i love co!

Just a little advice... if you are gonna sell something and there is a price you are "looking for" you should just be upfront and let people know. Makes the process smoother.

Yea man Glenn told me you were coming up tomorrow. I was thinking about sticking for a night and riding tomorrow too, but I have to stop by work tomorrow to meet the rest of the staff and get all my paperwork in order. No worrys though about Glenn, he is a machine. Have fun bro.

So I have a few days of freedom here in Boulder before becoming a weekend warrior. So I met up with Glenn today at Winter Park, and here is how it all went down: Woke up to about 6inches of fresh snow here in Boulder. So it took me a little longer to get on the road then I hoped, but I made it. The drive to WP is absolutely beautiful (but most of the rockies are I suppose). Didn't get to take in a lot of the sights though since I had to pay fairly close attention to the road since they were still a bit sloppy. I arrived in the parking lot at like 9:35 or so, and Glenn came to my car to meet up. I put the rest of my gear on, and we got on our way. I'll be honest I was a bit nervous, cause I haven't been to a larger resort in quite a few years due to school/work. I knew Glenn had been riding like everyday for the last couple month, and I didn't want to hold him back. We started out with two tree runs, and they were nice sick. Glenn did a nice drop on the second one from pillow to pillow, I opted to just scout it for him since I am currently without health insurance, but in 90days when it kicks in I'll be hucking myself off stuff as well. I did manage to get a sweet shot of him as he did it, despite the fact he almost ran me over, haha. After the first two runs I was feeling good, I got my tree confidence up. So it was all gravy baby. I commented on the lift that I had yet to be above tree line. So we headed to the Panoramic lift, goober central, but it took us to the top where I got to experience some above tree action. After that we went and checked out some side country action, which was absolutely amazing. Glenn will tell you it was just ok, but I thought it was gorgeous. We came out on the road. So we hiked like a quarter mile and grabbed up a shuttle to the base area. Then we grabbed some lunch at the lodge Glenn works at, and met up with his friend Lindsay. We did a few more runs, and lost Lindsay in the trees somewhere. My legs were burning hard around like 1:30 or so, and my lungs were starting to cry for lower elevation. So we did two more runs to get back to the lot my car was in. I was at my car and back on the road by like 2:30. I really didn't want to leave, but I have been saving money to make this move instead of using it to ride. So I've got to get back in shape now. The way to the mtn, I bypassed much of route 6 via 70, but decided to hop off 70 early and take 6 in since I had some free time and all. It was freaking awesome. Such a great rode, tunnels, people ice climbing water falls right off the road, great cliffs, and all sort of rock to make even a beginner climber drool. So needless to say I almost ran off the road a number of times as I was ogling cracks, roofs, and gear placement. Check out my new facebook album to see the above photos, some more while on the mtn, and some the shots I was able to grab of scenic route 6. All and all a great day, thanks Glenn for showing me around, and keep ripping bro. I'll be back again real soon. Peace!

Isn't this like the second time you've tried selling these on here?
-
He has been sorta MIA lately. Not any easy guy to get a hold of. Especially, now that I am in Colorado. Sorry dude.
-
Haha, yea he has like 15 pairs of oakleys and a few of their shoes. he loves their stuff for some reason, but i had to step in and keep him from buying that thing.
-
The Medusa cap has been out for like 2 years now. They had one on display at amateur athlete in Bethlehem for quite some time. My uncle is an Oakley junkie and almost bought one. I talked him out of it.
-
I'd be fine with that, but it wasn't offered.
-
So your going to charge me 225 which is 50bucks more, plus the cost of shipping? No thanks. 175 shipped or no deal. Let me know when you are actually serious about this.
-
I'd be more then happy to pay you 175 if you ship it to Boulder Colorado. This is the last time I am going to say it. Let me know when you are ready to do this, perhaps reading the above posts would be beneficial.
-
I'm still not 100% convinced on split boards. My thought with this was to pick up the custom for all mountain riding since I usually ride a 154 Dominant. That way I can just devote the dom to the park and noodling around. Plus 175 is a great price if he can ship it to me. I'm coming to the realization that I may need a place to crash for a few days. I'm looking at some apartments this afternoon and tomorrow. However, it will probably be a few days until I can move in. I was originally planning on just staying at the Boulder Hostel, but then I remembered you live on a mountain. Any room on the floor for me and a sleeping bag? Lemme know. peace.
-
if you read the posts above you will see that I am on my way to Colorado. I am actually in Nebraska as I type this. I would be willing to pay the 175 for the board if you are willing to ship it to Boulder once I get a permanent address. Let me know.
-
I should have an address for him no longer then 5 days or so. If I don't have an apartment yet I'll just have him ship it to my job. I'm more concerned as to whether or not he is willing to ship it.
-
I'll give you 175 if you ship it once I get a permanent address in Boulder.
-
You know what shows up best though... talent.
-
If the board is still sitting around in about 2 weeks and you are willing to ship it I may be interested. I have no permanent address right now, and I am moments away from getting into my car and heading to Colorado. I'll keep checking back once I get a place to live and I can reevaluate my financial situation.
