yea it sounds like there are some issues with them. however, if they keep breaking within a year im just gonna keep sending them back and getting new ones for free. im cool with that. ill take a week off once a year to get a free new board once a year. good to hear that i may not have to rock pink.

no i should hopefully be getting it the end of next week. ill just deal witht the pink. it is only on the bottom. the new white top will look pimp with my white 05 custom bindings. so ill deal with the pink.

if you look, all the rails are sitting at the top of the park in a pile. i also heard that after the holidays there is going to be a bit of an overhaul in the park to get things back in shape. maybe we will see some of those rails re-appear after the overhaul.

i really liked my old one too... until it ing broke. oh well, looks like i'm going to have to learn to like pink.

i agree. the windy-ness bothered me the first few times through, but i'm ok with it now. the only part i think that gets hairy is around the table top. i'm not crazy that there is that kicker up top and the landing rolls right into the table. its fun to session through both of them, but when there are a few people in there it gets sketchy. you get people coming off the rail that like to use the side of the table (which they need to stop doing) people dropping on the table from between the rail and the kicker, and people hitting the kicker and then the table. not to mention if it is a weekend you get all the pain in the ass rubber neckers who just come in there to watch and clutter it up even more. i still like the set up, no doubt about that. it just gets a little crowded sometimes.

Got home early from visiting the family up north tonight. So i dug out my receipts and headed to nestors. Two different people looked at it and told me there was no way that i could have caused that type of damage. they told me that odds are the top lam wasn't sealed properly and water got into the board and softened the core, causeing it to become weak and crack the top lam. they said they would ship it to burton in the AM and that burton has a 48hr policy, and that anything that they have come in with problems will be taken care of in 48hrs. So i should hear back from Nestors some time around wednesday-thursday. i spent about 2 min looking at gloves after filling out the proper paper work, and the chick behind the counter was already boxing my dominant up to be shipped. so nesotors scored a few points with me tonight, they were very speedy and helpful. i wasn't in there more then 15min. now its up to burton, but i have faith in them since i've dealt with them before.

ok def thought u were talking about giving your mom loving for helping you get your boad. im glad you added the binding part in at the end or i would have had to wonder about you... ups all the way man. i love when i see th brown truck pull up out front of my house. except he is usually dropping off freaking longaberger baskets for my mom that i have to carry in.

thank you for that greg, haha. you have to just expect bad crowds and conditions during this week. everyone is takeing days off to make their only trip up for the year. the crews can't keep the conditions up with so many people out there at once. i look at it this way, let the conditions get bad. that way it scares off the people for the rest of the season.

i was just on the phone with burton and they said not to worry about being a day or two late. the girls was really cool and told me that they wouldn't be jerks like that. she also said it def sounds like something they did wrong. new dominant here i come.

just called nestors to see when i actually baught the thing. computer is showing i bought it as of the 29th, i cant get in there til the 30th. fuck me. as of now i don't really care about my pimp status or snake skin. i just want a board to ride that isn't my beat to shit m3 which is falling apart... literally.

im not really sure how the apoxy will help considering it is cracking under the leather portion. all i know is it is going to nestors ASAP and i will have them pay for it to go back to Burton. It is actually under a year i think at this point.

So i just got back from Blue Mountain a little bit ago, and it was a great day. I did a bunch of runs with Doug, Atomic Jeff, and Jeffs buddy. Normally i spend more time in the park, but i figured since i ran into them i would do some runs with em. So it was a rather warm day and a lot of snow was sitting on top of my board all day. By the time i got home the snow had melted off my board while it sat in the back of my truck, and i grabbed it to put in my parents thule box since we are heading north after xmas day. So i noticed that right in front of my front binding my top sheet craked at some point today. Probably failed to see this on the mtn due to all the snow on top of my board. I flexed it a bunch of times and it seems as though it isn't having an effect on the board itself, but i am sure with that cracked it leaves the core some what exposed to water damage. So i am going to ride it for one more day while i am up north (since i don't really have any other option, unless i want to ride my beat to shit 03' millenium three cap), but as soon as i get home it is going back to nestors and i am raising hell. Anybody have any experience with this? I thought i remember skitzo talking about some sort of damage to his dom, but maybe i am wrong? Let me know BTW: for those of you not totally familiar with the Burton Dominant, it is a board designed mainly for park. So in my mind that implies that it should be pretty damn durable to flexing and things of that nature. Also, today was only my 7th day on it. So i don't see how this could have happened while simply carving some trails up. Unless something is wrong with it.

if it was any other week i would be up there at some point, but on monday i will be in a car headed north. gotta do the family xmas thing with the new englaner side of the family. oh well wednesday we go and hit the slopes, and i am puching for sunday river. holla!

i was up there as well. u were filming? were you the group who had like 3 skiers and a handful of boarders. kid with the vid cam had a blue jacket and a bandana tied to his pants? if so i followed you guys through the park at one point to see some people hitting the rails and what not. i hit a few of the features, still trying to get my confidence back on rails, so i didn't attempt anything that wasn't ride on. the park was sick though. i loved all the hits, and i like that there are multiple wall rides now. for some reason those are my new things. a few more trips and i am going up and over the lower wall. conditions were great. i did 3 runs through the park, and i think 5 or 6 other runs. then i headed out. i kept it a short night cause i had a long day at work. once again jeff, we didnt run into each other. what time did you head out?

damn it! the only day this week i cant get up there. i hate dentists appointments. I'll be there every night for the rest of the week though. I gotta catch up to jeff with my days on the snow.

I got the smallest clear dakine stomp i could find, and made sure it had some really sharp spikes on it to make up for its size. you can hardly notice it.

snake skin=pimp status. the tip of mine will never see a sticker. it killed me to even put on a stomp pad.

Ok guys i have to be the first to just say that you should be careful what you say. There are some younger folks on this board so try and be a little more selective on what you say. We like to have freedomof speech here at PASR, but just be smart. I will let greg and jeff decide though if any posts need to be altered for content. At any rate, yes i would have brought that to an end as well. Pain is not worth it. Oh, and i couldn't put a stop to this thread anyway. I forgot that in my few month absence i lost my mod privledges. So please just behave until Greg and Jeff get back. haha.
