not to be a buzz kill, but most companies will send out a new board for repairs such as that. most figure it will just keep you from buggin them furthur and solitify you as a customer. I have hear of the following companies doing that: Forum Burton Millenium Three (In fact one of my friends sent his M3 back and they sent him 2 new ones because they made a paper work error in the factory, lol. Lucky Bastard.)

Kutztown got about 10inches. Just enough for me to put my gear on and take a run down main street. (yes main street, i literally did a run right down the busiest street in town, haha. man did some of my fellow drunk college students look at me funny as i raced past cars, lol).

Kutztown: About 2inches as of 3:18. I'm about 10minutes from Bear Creek. and 20 from Blue.

Kutztown... Been snowing since about 11am and hasnt really stopped. It has indeed slowed down, but it is still snowing.
-
oh yes oh yes! It looks like we are looking at 1-3 inches tonight. I hope that is an underestimate, and that it is actually a lot more.

ive heard rumors about things like that between CB and MC, but i think they discontinued those deals. In addition, if my memory serves me right they were only good in the last few weeks of the season (usually at MC after CB prematurely closed).

it sounds to me like the excess base material that was gouged out is what is hanging around. sort of like when u get a nasty gash and u have that nasty extra skin flap that you can gross people put with. my advice would be to very slowly and carefully remove the extra flap with a razor blade so that you have a level base (with exception to the gouge). then clean the gouge and surrounding area with a base cleaner in order to have a clean surface for the new ptex to bond to. then heat the ptex and drip it into the gouge. over fill the gouge just slightly in order to be sure it is filled sufficently. allow ample time for it to dry and then go back and remove excess ptex with a razor blade. then do any base cleaning and waxing you feel fit to the remander of the base. i would recoment a full tune (clean entire base and rewax) in order to be sure you are back to 100%. gluck!

just a note to those who like to listen to music on the mtn... a flash memory player is indeed a much better idea. the small amount of moisture found in the air that is contained within the harddrive can freeze in colder temps (for example while you are skiing). this freezing causes tiny little ice crystals to form on the discs of the drive. as you can see this can cause quite a problem, and can fry your player. it happened to my 20gb archos about a yr ago. while there is a very tiny amount of moisture in the player it still happens. it only takes a very little bit for it to do so. so i would recomend not bringing a hard drive based player onto the mtn, but if you must, keep it in your jacket and close to your body. this way you keep it warm with your body heat and it wont have this problem.

keep knees bent, explode with your legs at end of box, lead with your head, allow your shoulders to follow your head, and then get the last of the spin out with your hips and feet.

no he has no need for a wide with a 10 boot. i have a 10.5 and have no problems. no need for a wide unless ur in the 12+range.
-
yes contact the manufacturer of the board first. ud be shocked at what they will fix free of charge. if u have a wood core u better seal that up REALLY GOOD cause as stated above moisture will just destroy it. (happened to me so trust me). Id also go to a shop and see what they have to say.

Ok i may be a little late with this as i see some of you looking for boots may have already bought them. However, hands down in my opinion 32 makes some of the tightest boots. stay away from their lower model or two, because they are simply ur typical budget boot. However, once you step a little above those you get into some really great products. I have a pair of 32 Team 2s from 2 years ago and they are still like spotless. they hold up for the long hall man. If for some reason you don't like 32 i would then look at burton. especially if ur looking for a high tech lace system. their's is tight. as far as the heel drag issue. get a burton riser plate. i am not sure if they fit non burton binding mounting, but if they do get them. i have the palmer plates and ended up takeing them off. they are a three piece design that was just a bit too sketchy for me, and i kept getting all sorts of snow under it which cause my borad weight to increase significantly. that board may be a little small for you depending on ur weight. your height isn't the only factor. i am the same size and ride a 154. yes thats a lil bigger, but most people i talk to my size are up at a 156-158. so u may wanna keep that in mind when u do actually go out and get a new one.

someone wanan give me their pass barcode
nick malozzi replied to Snwbrder940's topic in Blue Mountain
If u wanna ride just park just hike CBs park. although with the movement of rails and widened pipe that may not be worth it. ive seen plenty of kids use the same lift ticket from the beggining of the year over and over again in the park. if u get questioned just say ur pass musta fallen off. then go down to get a new one and just leave. it may be a shorter day then u had planned, but it was free so suck it up and go sneak into shawnee on your way home, haha. -
u can also get a soft or "gum" stone. it dosen't sharpen ur edges, but it will take the barbs off that form from hitting things in the snow. thats only for barbs though, if u need a sharper edge i would either take it to a shop or buy a guide and a good stone.

what sucks more is all this fog. fog destroys snow.
-
oh i wont even go there, haha ill behave, haha but yes wide parks are nice

one word... liability

the distance between my bindings is beyond me. i just played with it til it felt right. my m3 jib setup is at -15/15. and when my burton custom comes in it will be set at -12/15. i prefer the duck stnace for everything because i have played ice hockey all my life and it has forced my leg and muscle growth to make me a bit duck footed naturally. so the duck stance just feels more comfortable overall. plus when im carving i love to be able to just ollie to switch and keep on going. as for binding lean i dial that in with the back plate. a lil more for carving, but overall i dont go too crazy with it.
