i have a friend that just got a job at sports authority. he just found out that sports authority recently teamed up with a chain of sports stores out west. so they have upgraded their winter sports gear. he told me that they are even going to begin carrying burton,; so i dunno about other gear or even ski gear, but sounds like you could save a few bucks there if they have what you want. if your looking for a great online/mailorder company to get snowboard stuff i strongly recomend www.eternalsnow.com . they have a great selection, and are very quick to get there shipments out. check em out.

unoriginal, but it certainly conveys info to the masses with the small/nonscrolling size (with exception to the larger pages that expand the design). it may not have too many bells and whistles, but it loads fast so it dosen't exclude the dial-up folk. i do think they coulda done a little more work to it so it didnt look so much like a template they downloaded and just changed the vital info on. it certainly sux in my opinion, but it is better then the old one.

i dont remember what i had there, but i know it was good!

A friend of mine tried snowboarding a few years ago an didn't like it. So he is selling his mildly used gear. I don't really know how the quality of it is other then that he tells me it is fairly good shape. So i told him i would post the details on here. These are his exact words: xxxx: um cyclone 5180 board. burton steop in bindings and burton size 12 boots. xxxx: boots are beautiful, the bindings are a little scratched. the boards a lil rough around the edges.. xxxx: i think its 160ish i think the price is negotiable, so if your interested PM me and ill get you his info in order to work it out. it sounds like it would be a great beginner set up for pretty cheap. thanks all!

yea i was about to go move it and i realized it already was. lol good work!
-
it will be moved shortly

yes but it does fight rust. and rust sucks. it dosent slide well and it wrecks your base. ill take a painted rail over a nasty rusted one any day
-
i hope they maybe did a little work on the rails. last i was there they had a god variety but the seemed a bit sketch. i felt the rainbow rail wiggle when i hit it, and a few of the others needed a paint job. lets hope!

sounds rad, but id like to hear a lil more details. what are they actually adding?
-
the music in the CB park is mainly for the pipe. i usually can hear it though if i am sessioning one of the upper rails. its tough to hear though once you get down to the hip-o.

-

call me silly but isn't a camel's fur yellow? think about it!

no i totally agree ski, i really have no idea what i was getting at in that post, lol. i just know that i enjoy both types of riding.

parks are great. i love jibbin, i mean look at my name. but i do enjoy flying down a trail every now and again. call me old school, but i do. its just like how some surfers still love to hop on the long board and rip. there is a lot to be said about those who solely free ride, and the same for those who are soley park rats. i try to be more versitile simply for the reason that it allows me to have an awesome time no matter who i am ridding with. i can have a blast with think and atomic as we rip down a trail at full speed, but i can also have a blast with my boys jibbin a rail or sessioning a hit. its all good. CB is def going for the more free ride feeling, afterall the majority of their ticket sales comes from weekend tourists from NY. lets face it guys, not too many weekenders have a huge desire to hit a huge jump on rainbow or even c rail. now for the other mtns, i dont really know, cause the only other pocono mtns i have ever hit were blue and shawnee. it goes without saying that shawnee sucked goat balls. and blue was def better then CB park wise. i dunno i am rambling cause i had too muc to drink. later

i've heard good things about big boulder from others, i just have never been there so i cant say for myself. although if the trails are terrible, id prolly have to say id prefer another mtn, because i free ride a lot too.
-
sounds more like you have a fear, haha
-
this guy drives bimmers and wont even put out for a lift ticket to race. seems like he's a little affraid to me.
-
ah that was refreshingly funny after a long day at work, lol
-
omg shawnees is terrible. so it is a step above that. blues's is nice. looks like they had a good idea, just poor execution. id have to say blues is better though just since it is less cluttered and not so busy. i think they all suck though. my favorite website for a resort is mountain creek. thats pretty cool.
