i wasnt refering to length, and i am not lieing to you on the height estimation. if you know greg kester (board instructor at blue) ask him. he was standing right next to me when ian did it. we both looked at eachother and almost shit our pants. we thought for sure once we got to the other side of the jump he would be splattered out on the trail with skiis and poles all over the place. but when we got to the other side he was standing there just brushing a lil snow off himself. (atomic, no he isn't that good, haha, thats y it was such a shock. the kid has about as much fear as price and if u tell him to do something he just does it. me and him went down cliffy and i dont think he untucked or carved at any point down it. i struggled to keep up with him. not that i am fast, but i have a few more years on him and he gave me quite a ride to keep up.) just to restate myself, no he really did go that high. maybe 40 is a lil high, but he hit 35 i can gurantee it.

yea the hits in the other park are getting there. however, whats the deal with putting that fence in at the top of the park? its like impossible to get some good speed going to hit the first table top. anyway, the first hit in rhodo was really sick last night. people were going off on that thing. my buddy ian (skiier), no lie, prolly got about 35-40 feet of air of it. over shot the landing a lil. but it proves that thing has lots of potential!

i found contions to be nice last night, lil icey on the landing of the hit after the hips in rhodo though. just from heavy traffic though.

mike, while i appreciate your humor, and am glad to see you posting on this board again. i think you should watch what you say about the daves. try reading the e-mail they sent atomic. while none of us are happy about it or agree with it. we need to follow it to some extent if we want to keep this board going as well as it is now. thanx man, lemme know the next time ur going up. peace!
-
not the greatest locks i agree. but it detirs people from stealing ur crap. they would much rather just pick up a board and walk away. not that its a lot of effort to break a lock like that, but it draws attenting to the theif, so they would prolly just skip over your board and grab an unlocked one. well unless you pissed someone off and they are just trying to get back at you. anyway, im fine with mine.

no i was there, but i was meeting my g/f who came up with LHS ski club. she ended up getting car sick on the bus and i got a text message at like 5 telling me this, so i went looking for her. wasn't til about 6 that i found her, and then i spent time with her cause i felt bad. so that kinda goofed up meeting u guys. sorry about that!

i have one of those retractible ones too. sounds like some people carry bicycle locks or other larger locks though. either way anything in ur pocket hurts if u fall onto a rail with it, and depeneding on the fall it could hurt falling almost anywhere. so i see why people want to leave them behind. they are gonna cut em if u lock it to the locker systems, thats a given. simple solution to this problem is. take an empty book bag with you. lock ur bookbag to the rack with the lock (not the locker systems though!). now they can't cut it cause it is technically locking your "gear". this also saves you a spot to put ur stuff. especially if u get there early, u can use ur bag to claim a nice spot where ur board/skiis are safe, and u don't have to carry ur lock (also serves as a cooler if u toss some beverages in the bag, although lately it has been too cold to do that). so try that out. i do it on occasion and it works well, nobody cuts it and as long as u lock the zippers shut u are safe from theft if there is stuff in the bag. later!

i liked the hips. they were fun and a good change. i wonder who that kid was who recomended they put hips in again this year? cough me cough! haha. they actually listened! (i think?)

HAHA, nice one davey j! i love how in the new VSR davey j finds it necesary to say "we strive for the truth" in his new VSR! kind of ironic how we all made such a deal about marketing lies and propaganda a few days ago, and all of a sudden they "strive for the truth". well the vsr itself is basicly a lie. 6 inches of fresh snow, ok ill give them that, but why even advertise it if it is all groomes and packed at this point? oh wait i remember now. to ATTRACT TOURISTS AND MAKE PROFIT!!! its all coming back to me now, damn corpoation!

i know what emptp looks like from his creepy web cam, lol. and i think i can pick out skidude if i look for the metal mouth i saw in the picabo pic. and atomic, i had a class with u last year didn't I? but a time and a place would be nice as well!

i got banned because i kept asking why my PMs got blocked. when they never answered me i posted the banner u see below on my sig over there and i think that pushed them to give me the boot. up until last night they had no reason to do anything to me. however they still blocked my PMs. so since i saw that they had it out for me i went out with a bang using my clever sig. oh well its more fun over here.

i never have the problem of people flying by me, guess i am just too fast. actually i think it is cause for the most part i am in the parks or on a trail that gets me to the parks. so i don't come across you guys all too often.
-
favorite: trail: nile mile park: if they could just combine the 2 i would be stoked. i can't decide which i like better though. i love the new hits in rhodo, and the boxes are cool. but i am still a rail lover at heart, and sometimes i find it more fun to just hit the rails as opposed to the boxes. the boxes are great to learn stuff on though. so i can't pick one of the two. i think they need to become one!!!!

dont really give a shit, as long as ur havin fun and your not pissing me off (which lately isn't too hard to do, haha)
-
coudn't really tell ya, i fly down em all way too fast!!!!!!! but pretty much i think all the snow is fairly good. i hate how icey it gets at most trail intersections though. i don't think i could choose just one trail though.
