Glen plake was at blue today? whoa! no shit, wish i would known. i don't ski, but i have respect for that dude. he is a cool guy. the only time i didn't like him was when he responded to warren miller asking him "if u could change one thing about skiing today back to a point in ur past what would it be?". Plake said "well i would change it back to before they made snowboards". oh well he is still a rad dude with sweet hair.

i almost feel like Dave J has to pick up the pieces after Dave K quite often. Cause usually after u see Dave K post there is a Dave J post trying to fix things. Dave K should just not be alowd to post. I think it would solve a lot of problems.

haha dave K is just mad that i actually replyed to his PM and made him look like an asshole. lol. still waiting on what he has to say about my second reply. but whats ks deal with "oh give us a break". saying that is so lame. all he had to do is say what dave j said and it would be the end of the convo. dave k really needs to get over himself a lil.

yea i had that same problem. i started using my old board as a jib board. but the thing is SO shitty that i hate even takeing it with me to places. so i started jibbin with the newer one and it is going to shit fast. but new board next season should take care of the issue.

yea my bet is that u saw price. he is sick. the kid is talented. and there are tons of kids as talented or better then him. however he has an edge over them. HE HAS NO FEAR WHAT SO EVER! the kid will try anything. probably why he ends up with a major injury ever season, but that attitude has really gotten him far in the sport. he could prolly go pro if he could get 2 full seasons in with no injuries, but that sets him back a lot i think.

i didnt mean the new edge would be worse then the one u have now. i am just saying that it isn't going to be mounted as well as the factory edge. it just dosen't seem physically possible for it to be with haveing to re-bond it. i really don't know what to tell ya. i still think ur best bet would be to take it to a shop and get their opinion. u'd be surprised what those guys can do with a lil love, lil p-tex, and the proper equiptment. but thats just my advice. you don't gotta listen to me by any means, haha.

its proly cheaper to do that (if it is possible, i think it all depends on how much opther damage to the board there is.) but my bet is it won't last very long, and wont be near the quality of ur original edge. i would say just have them do there best to repair it at a top notch shop without replaceing it, and retire it at the end of the season.

Ok i understand the "holidays" that they have over xmas vacation. I agree there are a lot of people out of work at that time so it is fair to call it a "holiday week". However i have to say that i think it is a load of crap that they consider today (sunday B4 martin luther king jr day a holiday.) I understand that they put "holiday weekend" on the website. but i was just under the impression that meant it was a three day weekend for most. so to get to my point, when i bought my season pass i was told by a CB employee and i quote "this is valid everyday ecept mid-day saturday, valentines day, and holiday week over xmas (which meant nothing cause it was after that week at that point)". so i though nothing of looking at my pass b4 heading up there today. needless to say the first lift line i get in is re god damn diculously long. i wait about 15min and i am halfway through the line and a liftie walks by looking at passes. walks by no problem. i am next in the singles line to go and so liftie looks at my pass and does a double take. i am thinking, hmmm, must just be confussed. NOPE! he wasn't he looks again and tells me my pass isn't valid. sure enough today is one of those "holiday" days that i can't use my pass. last i checked tomorow was the holiday. i was so pissed i almost punched the dude, only cause the first dude walked right by and looked at it. so yea, i waited in line for about 30min just to have to turn around and go home. not a good day. sorry for writting a book, but i needed to vent and the CBMB would not be an appropriate place. i understand it was partically my fault, but after what the girl told me when i bought it i didn't think anything of it and i never even looked.

yup went up there. sucked goat balls. crowded as all hell at the lift lines. can't comment on the trails however.....read my new thread and u will understand.

so im heading up tomorow, yes the day before a holiday. so do you think it will be crowded? let me know. later

nah skidude, only 10 trails and 2 lifts, which dont even goto the top of the mountain, its a terrible night for skiing. fuckin wuss's at camelback....jibo, jones told me CAMELBACK was canceling all trips yea i didn't get details on the cancelation. just heard it was canceled. so i figured i would just spend a night at home with the g/f. and maybe do a lil drawing.
