Your home mountain is heavenly? Nice.

The large group of boarder/skier cross kids waiting behind us for the six to open had me thinking that when they opened the gates it was going to get crazy, but then the whole group of crossers saw the quad open first and migrated over there, perfect.

Those posts about your accident were scary, I am so glad to hear you are ok, wishing you a quick and full recovery. -
Morning at blue was excellent, with 13 degrees in the valley. Good conditions on open trails from paradise to Main St., challenge was slightly cookied but very skiable, switchback was great once again. Barneys had a nice layer of fresh man made on it, NM/DW and Razors were closed, Razors had top to bottom snowmaking with good sized piles on it. I skied with two 70+ year old gentlemen, and I must say they brought it, nothing slow, every lap was top to bottom at a good clip, I was the one keeping up. I left with close to 20 runs and they were going back for more. Each lift ride included some great conversation, it was one of the best days of the season. On the way home route 78 between 33 and Hellertown was down to one lane, caused quite a backup, didn't bother me after such a fun day on the slopes.

Really nice. -
Got my leg broken by an "idiot meat rocket" straight lining midway onto main a few years back.

I know people who stopped going to blue for exactly that reason.

Great reports from JH, thank you for sharing. -
Skied this morning at blue. Challenge and terrain run were being groomed. First runs on NMDW and Razors were cookie heavy, razors improved by mid morning. When challenge opened it was post grooming death cookies. Bumps were very slick, every thing else was very good, switchback was excellent.

I am looking forward to the daily reports with pictures. -
By trail riding i meant single track on a mountain bike, i should have been more clear , i ride at nockamixon often. for road riding i agree with the rural road riding, where i live i can connect mcmansion developments for close to 50 miles without riding on a main road, there are alot of hills in them.
-
That is part of why I like trail riding a little more than road riding.
-
I ride and ski as though no one sees me. The news said the person that died was laying on the slope when he was hit.
-
That will hold your attention.

Back in the day we used to ski bell mountain near lambertville NJ, it had 150 foot of vertical.

There is a lot of gravel on the roads here. I was ready to ride to work this morning but it was raining. Is your scoot a monster 800?
-
NIce. Any problems with gravel buildup on the roads?
