I hope by weekend they mean Friday when I am there.

Demoing is the only way to be sure you get the right ski. As Jlaw rightly said, we all ski differently. Reviews and recommendations will get you in the ball park but you should demo.

Just checked the blue mountain cams, there is a beautiful blizzard in the valley. Not many patrons out in the cold.

I thought you would rather not lose a JH day when I posed that question. I would certainly like to go to JH, especially after seeing the pictures you guys posted, but the likelihood is low. Although my wife did give me her blessing to take a western trip, I was thinking more along the line of Utah if I was to go. -
I will be sure to post one. I hope mine will include a newly opened trail (or 2).

I'm going to shoot for Thursday morning for my personal 2017-2018 opening day at blue. I think Hayata is doing the same.

if my timing is off during midweek trips to blue, i get behind school buses around newburg. they do stop at a lot of houses. back in the day, one of the kids walked almost a mile to catch the school bus at our stop.
