    new ride

No they are on it. The fairing hides them in my picture, they aren't sky high, about 14".
  2. The open stall is my favorite. I have a two seater outhouse at my cabin, I guess when my parents built it, pooping side by side was a social event.

    new ride

Acquired this yesterday. 2014 Street Glide, charcoal, chrome wheels, black vance & hines exhaust, black ape hangars. Fun ride.
  4. Yes, she really enjoys riding.
  5. Barb here are pictures of my touring set-ups. An FLH and a Road King with a Kompact Kamp trailer. Just noticed there are no side marker lights, thought there were.
  6. Mine has a torsion bar suspension that absorbs bumps very well. The type of hitch you use can be an issue. One trailer maker uses a hitch that looks like two rings, one on the bike and the other on the trailer. That set up is known for flipping at parking lot speeds but they're fine on the highway. I have a normal ball hitch and it works great even when leaned hard into a corner. While pulling my trailer I never even notice it is back there until I hit a bump in the road, then you feel the trailer hit the bump. If you overload the trailer you can feel it pushing you when you brake. I opted for a cargo trailer because the pop-up camper trailers are much heavier. The trailer has four large led taillight/brake lights on it so I am much more visible from behind, and marker lights on the sides for even more visibility. The nice thing about the trailer is that I don't have to load everything on the bike, so it feels lighter which is less tiring on a long trip.
  7. Motorcycle camping is a lot of fun. I pull a trailer behind my FLH, it really adds to the storage space.
  8. The girl that lives with her mother across the street from me had three children from three different fathers by the time she was 23. She was, as you say, excited about each pregnancy, marriage was never a consideration. She was/is on some kind of government dole, I can't remember when she last had a job, I do remember it was as a hair washer in a salon. Her plan was to collect on the three children from the fathers and the state, it was working for her until she had her three children taken away early this year due to her drug abuse. Her grandparents were the original owners of the house she's in now. Her and her mother were both born and raised in that house. My neighborhood is a quiet, tight knit, family oriented one on a private road in the middle of bucks county.
  9. A 1970 Z28 Camaro with a 350 cubic inch engine w/four bolt main running 360 hp. Before that I owned a 1970 Chevelle SS 396. Wish I had those two cars in my garage now.
  10. Looks nice, congrats. I owned the same car in the same color in 1977.
  11. Skied blue this morning. The valley gate was half closed with a security guard sitting in a vehicle there. The conditions were much improved from Sunday morning's extra firm conditions. Paradise, nmdw, razors, sidewinder, lazy, & switchback were all in nice shape. The top of challenge had some sugary depth but skied fine, I heard main was the same but I didn't venture over that far. The bumps were still frozen solid. The day started out as a perfect cloudless bluebird day, about midmorning the clouds started rolling in, and when I left it had flat lighted pretty bad. It will be a shame if this weekend is the end given the amount of snow on the trails. Later.
  12. Yeah, you better drive to blue instead.

    Good day

Back from a morning session @ blue. 27 degrees in the valley @ 8:30am, 35 degrees upon leaving @ noon. Only 2 lifts were running today, the six & the vista chair, so very few people were on the little gap side. Upper sidewinder was closed. Every thing groomed was good, every thing ungroomed was frozen solid. NMDW speed laps were great. The top of challenge had some soft depth to it, the bottom half was harder and faster. Razors was fast and smooth. Great bluebird day for adding up vert.
  14. The condition of the valley parking lot should be interesting tomorrow.
  15. Went to blue this A.M. It was 39 degrees in the valley and I thought oh yeah hero snow day, I could not have been more wrong. Every thing was frozen granular, cookies, or boilerplate. The wind was blowing hard out of the northwest, at the top of the six pack it had to be around 40 to 50 mph, the wind sock at the top of challenge looked like it was going to tear off. Fighting the wind to get to the headwall at the top of razors was almost impossible, then razors was hard as a rock. One run down razors and I headed to the main street chair. Over on the little gap side the wind speed was much less. The bumps and the trees were frozen danger and every thing else was mostly cookies but skiable. Things improved slightly as the morning wore on and softened up. All and all a decent day, way better than going to work.
