Are they testing explosives in your neighborhood?

Everything I read points to them being the right ski for me. They are my first skis with rocker. Demoed a bunch of rockered skis last year and liked them. These are "blems" so I got a great deal.

Love my jeep unlimited. Comfortable, spacious, & weather is almost a non-issue.

What are the new piers in the parking lot outside the valley lodge for?

true blue pass for me.

Just bought a set of blizzard bushwhackers.

Shit Fuck Weather, Shit Fuck Snow, Epic Time TR

Nice T.R., brought back a lot of winter camping memories. -
Pretty busy by 10am. Many people on rental skis. Heard they had to cart two bump competitors from yesterday's event.

I did not get onto Mount Ellen when I was there a couple years ago and by the sound of your report I missed out.

Minus 2 degrees in the valley upon arrival at 8am. Groomed trails were very nice with good squeaky snow all morning, bumps were icy, except the newly seeded main street bumps. Blue baumer glade had decent snow, sleepy hollow was crusty danger, trees to the right of switchback were good.

Every groomed trail was excellent this morning. Razors is closed for a race camp. Bumps on main were a little icy, bumps on challenge were freshly seeded not many people in them so they stayed seedy, the bumps on nightmare were the same. The glades were frozen crust ice rinks from the freezing rain.

The six broke while we were on it about 1/3 of the way up. They used an axillary generator to inch us to the top. I asked a maintenance guy what broke, he said it was an electrical problem.

AM session from 8:30 to 11am. Not many people there today, more were there yesterday morning. Close to a half inch of snow fell while I was there, for about four laps it was coming down hard enough to cover me during the ride up on the six. Razors was closed right away for racing but no racing took place up to 11am. Switch back was open with small cookies but skiable, the bumps had random ice patches on every line. Lazy was good except the far left side was oddly rough, possibly from snowmobiles? Everything else was pretty good due to the fresh snow.

During my next trip to Killington I'll have to use the bus for a day or two and see how it goes. I was in lake placid on a bus trip in 2007, we used the shuttle and I thought it was just to whiteface and back. The bus in rutland has stops all around town.
-
I have been contemplating renting a place and spending the winter there, just wondering if The Bus would be a feasible alternative to a car.
-
Is it possible to be without a car in Rutland Vt. and use The Bus to get to Killington, Pico, and around town semi easily?

Headed up right now for opening day II featuring the valley lodge.
-
Friday a.m. for me. Looking forward to parking in the valley and riding the sky couch.

They stand out. Look for them parked pretty close to the lodge, or at the front of the line waiting for the gate to drop.

One day early last year the intersection of main and midway was a demolition derby because Burma wasn't open and many beginners where using midway to get to the main st. chair.

I hope the rain line stays south of the ridge.

GSS does vermont pretty good vermont for himself vermont on the slopes.

I'm leaning that way. I do have vacation time saved up. I would really like to ski those bowls and some of the trees. The veiw looks worth the trip.

I like Smugglers Notch. Yeah the lifts may be slow but that gives you more elbow room on the trails, but it makes the lift line slower. This fall I have been watching you tube videos of Jackson Hole, looks awsome. If I go I hope to get some pointers from PASR's.
