The article says the hill has been operating at a loss for a few years, doesn't that mean it is already a non-profit?

3/17 - PASR Celebration / Gaper Day / St. Patrick's at Blue

I'm taking european delivery on a bag of swedish meatballs next january. -
Just one pet peeve, the out of control, on the wrong trail, over his head rental ski wearer that ran into me from above and broke my knee and tore my ACL on Feb 13, 2011. As long as he is not on the slope, everything is wonderful.

This was an excellent season for me. The conditions at blue were so random that I became a better skier just by having to deal with the variable conditions. I really enjoyed meeting a few of the PASR's. Due to knowing who you were through the chat room, meeting you all had a feeling of meeting celebrities. -
In Bucks county, just southeast of Doylestown, in Jamison. The picture is looking down from my driveway.

I'm hoping for a november start next season. You should have been on a motorcycle for those roads. What a view. -
I want to ride one of those hammerhead sleds down razors edge.

Nice. My mid life crisis resulted in apehangers on my road king. Have you ever had issues with the 21" front wheel following cracks in the road?
-
What year? Move into it slow, start by replacing your car's steering wheel with handlebars.

You are right. The experience is more important than the brand. Personally I really like the BMW GS, I have been toying with the idea of buying one and outfitting it with aluminum panniers for a long time. I love back road motorcycle camping, and the GS is perfect for that. I also like the supermotard bikes, and the duel sport bikes that Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha have. I had a honda duel sport and loved it, it was a blast on little back roads and the occasional off road excursion. I don't understand what you mean by that.

I like it, very cool. The big front tire looks great on it. The rear brake/turn signal combo, and the side license plate clean up the rear of the bike beautifully. I'm glad they returned to the old style peanut gas tank, I'm not a fan of the new sportster tank styling. Sportster motors run great and are almost bulletproof. My only issue is that I have gotten used to the size of my Softtails and FL's so I feel cramped on a sportster (I hope I don't sound like an elitist by saying that). Have not been out yet this year, bikes are in storage, but I think I am going to take one out of storage tomorrow. The up coming week looks pretty good for riding.

Too many riders on fake harley cruiser motorcycles. I'd like to see them save a little more and get the real thing. They would be happier.

There were some big bare spots today, the first turn on switchback had a bare spot almost 3/4s of the way across the trail. On dreamweaver, just above where dreamweaver meets nightmare, the bare spot was almost trail wide. I hope they make it to the 25th, I'm not ready for the end of the season yet (never am). We need a freak 3 foot march blizzard. See ya saturday.

I was at blue today for opening bell. Temps were in the 20's when I got there. No mad dash for first chair, mostly older folks up for a few morning exercise runs and they're in no hurry, kinda takes the fun out of getting first chair. They blew snow in alot of places on the mountain, Lazy was loaded up pretty good then reworked and groomed. They blew snow on challenge and took the bumps off, the snow on it was like skiing on drywall, real hard to get an edge. The rest of the hill was excellent. Paradise, razors, main, and widow maker were exceptional. See ya thursday and saturday.

Part 1 of VT Tour: Killington Trip Report 2/25-2/26

Looking forward to your T.R. from smuggs. Used to go there with a crowd of friends every year. -
Possibly saturday for the mogul comp. Sunday for sure in the a.m. for the first chair mad dash. I was there today 12 - 3, the bumps on main were great, nice and soft. The bumps on nightmare were the same except for some large loose rocks in the right side line, but you could ski around them. They were getting the moguls ready on challenge for tomorrows comp. The rest of the trails were snow cone consistency, not bad at all. There were alot of boarders on sidewinder, they carved some big berms across the connector from lazy to the falls, and a huge one just above the falls, all from turning onto lower sidewinder.
-
Got to blue at noon, moguls on nightmare and main were soft with managable ice between, as the day progressed the ice softened and both runs were fun. The rest of the mountain was soft but good, except chute and razors. The chute was frozen cookies, razors first headwall was hard and very fast, then softish the rest of the way.

Are there shuttle busses running from salt lake city to the slopes?
