ok, so maybe not every single rail trick known to man was thrown on saturday, but they've all been done plenty of times before. how many times has a backflip to boardslide been done? not a whole lot. it was something creative, sick to watch, and darn brave... the epitome of freestyle snowboarding.

so what was he supposed to do? 270s and 450s on like everyone else was doing? johnny was just adding some creativity and stepping things up.

it wasn't very busy last night. on weeknights it's usually just kids in their schools ski clubs and stuff.

yeah, those guys, the snowboarder that threw the 1080, and the lone girl, lol. i'm not really positive who all is going though.

yeah, i made it up. it was a pretty good time. i didn't place or anything, but being from elk, i've never hit an ollie on rail either lol.
